It's not too many for me.

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

I got yer bishonen right here, buddy:kymaera wrote:And considering that most of her cels are bishounen cels, it might have been
skinny-dipping in the cel bin instead. She's probably been taking swimming
lessons from Perv-chan

Joe: I DID have a good time trying to keep Emily off them. She likes to help.

Buffy, as usual, ignored the entire proceedings. I think the fish were more interested.
I just *had* to do this after I got them all laid out. I couldn't believe it. I mean... yeah, the gallery has gotten to be a bit of a chore to keep up, but I really didn't think I had THAT many!!!!
You know the worst part?? As I was putting them back *in* the books I was trying to decide which ones I would sell. ("do you *really* need ONE cel from Trigun and ONE cel from Sailor Moon?") And I couldn't think of any off the top. Probably the ones I'd part with, nobody else would want either. At this stage I don't even think I could part with the cranky penguin from Mon Colle Knights because it's given me so many laughs!

Baakay, I know what you are going through. Yesterday I spent practically the whole afternoon going just a minimal organization, getting cels and sketches I'd pulled out a couple of months ago for display back in their proper places. I'm nowhere near as organized in real life as my gallery is virtually. But then to move a cel or sketch there, all one has to do is to change the name in the "Manage Artwork" menu. Here, one has to FIND the darn cel first, then pull it out, then find a place for it to go, then FIND the darn cel AGAIN, which has meantime slithered under a pile of gengas.
I ended up with an only modestly better organized set of cel/sketch books and a big stack of gengas that now have no home.

Heh. I see that was my post #666

"DUCK TAILS! Wooh-ooh! . . ."
*ahem* Where was I? Oh, right!
The best part, Baakay, is the reflection off the furniture.
I'm trying to keep my cels organized as I go . . . but it's hard. I might end up having to go buy another cel book soon, and I just ran out of small cel bags. On top of that, I keep forgetting to ask kymaera where the art shop that sells itoya is . . . it's somewhere by my school.
But you're floor really reminds me of when I first get cels, after I scan them and let them sit around haunting me for a while, I eventually sit down and clean them. My younger siblings know to stay out of the room when I've got cels on the floor, or they risk getting their heads torn off.
. . . and here I thought the emoticons were back! I miss my devils!
but I'm too lazy to upload them somewhere . . .
Congrats on hitting 666!

Oh they're there!!Kujaku wrote:Very nice Baakay. Though it may be just me, but I didn't see your pile of Kenshin Cels.

Jenny was helping and she kept saying "oh, another Kenshin." "oh, another Gokudo."

Runners up in the embarrassment department though: I had no idea how many cels from Mei King, Wordsworth, and Mon Colle Knights I'd accumulated! Geez. Yeah, I can look at the numbers, but it's not so impressive as having to step over Lost Universe two dozen times on your way to something else...
Ooooh, I love the sight of a room completely covered with cels! A dream come true!!
Lovely, lovely.
But it also puts me to shame.... my poor collection is in desperate need of a good organizing, rescanning, and refiling. Maybe the glimpse of your room covered in cels will be the kick in the pants I need to get going! (Maybe.

Wow! I have that same ugly beige carpet on the third floor of my house! Does it come standard, or what?
We did have it on the second floor, too (complete with holes, which had been chewed into it by the previous owner's dog
), but we replaced that with wood. I've been hoping to replace the third floor beige-ness with new carpeting ... maybe next year. But ... perhaps this new "celluloid flooring" is just the thing, instead.
