I doubt any school has this, but I want to learn how to play Go. Yes, I've been hooked to 'Hikaru no Go' ever since seeing it. We have no cool culture classes nor clubs here.
Archery is also a class I wish the offered.

Well, like it was said before, it really depends on what you like. I'm one of those crazy people who likes to learn about almost anything. Of course, that being said I hated Economics and Accounting. Econ was one of those "have to take" courses but I dropped Accounting as fast as possible. I just took Calculus for fun instead. (I love math.)
But my favorite courses were all my literature classes. English was my minor. I took Geology as my required science because it seems the easiest of all the sciences. It turned out to be a royal blast. I took it in the summer and it was practically nothing but field trips. The only time we were in the classroom was the first day of classes and the last day. The rest of the time we were out in the field having our lessons either while on route or right after we arrived. One of the best classes ever! I never knew learning about rocks could be so much fun.
try literature courses--they enhance your writing skills and open you to a world of literature and authors that you've never experienced before. i love american literature now because of it---i can take or leave british literature--depends upon the author.
its also a great history lesson too^^.
in addition, marketing classes are fun and so is business law.
i loved blaw! our professor gave us a scenario and we had to write a research paper using the business law we learned to suggest a plan of action on how to solve the court case--it was fun! he taught us how to think like a lawyer--a mind labyrinth of intelligence weaved with blaw.
since that course, my research skills have sharpened immensely and i can write more length in my papers. ^_^
long paper + good research and thesis = good grade
The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
-I, Robot (Asimov)
I tried anthropology, but dropped it the second day cuz the teacher sucked he did not know how to teach at all and every 10 minutes he would begin to talk about his lif...like we careeee ....but i did end up getting sociology and physical science for summer 1st session (which lasts a month) and for summer second session im taking physchology and philosophy....hopefully they are good classes. It looks like geology is a cool class, so i might try that out in fall. But i do wanna take math and some architecture/engineering classes too. But this summer session is killing me...so much workkkkkkk!!! oh well, i guess we all have to go through this one day or another. ok now back to more studying...how fun ....
Heya! I know I'm a bit of a latecomer to this thread but it's definitely important to take a variety of courses. You never know, you might end up LOVING something you'd never given a second thought to before! That's how I ended up majoring in International Relations with a focus on Africa African Novel ended up being one of the most interesting classes I ever took. I also took Income Tax this last semester and am heartbroken I didn't take it earlier so I'd have had time to take more tax law classes! I loved it!
So keep your mind open and sample a variety of classes! And have fun! Remember, there's a time and a place for everything, and it's called college

Ho There's the understatement of a lifetime or three...

Classes on personal finances can be good. I had to take a small business class for my major and the professor was so great I took his personal finance class. We learned how to do different tax forms and what the advantages of different IRAs are and that sort of stuff.
Oh and welding...it's fun and pretty useless for real life unless you want to be a mechanic.

Just as well.
My god, don't PAY to take stuff that you can learn from a "Dummies" book!! As long as your tuition bucks are on the line use them to do stuff you'll never have a cheap source for. It may not be the easy A route always but trust us old farts, later on you'll be happy you took the weird stuff while you had a chance.
