The network announcer said during the end credits that if you missed the episode you can see it on the show's website.
The problem is that you can't rewind the website viewer. You can only pause it.

I assume you mean our current problem.

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

Here are my thoughts/questions for episode 3...
I am starting to think that the guy with the glasses is NOT Syler, but some kind of government agent.
I am also starting to suspect that the congressman brother IS Syler. The reason for this is, why did they hide his face when he attacked the little girl?
Syler seems able to mimic the powers of heroes he comes in contact with, such as his brother's ability to fly and (possibly) the little girls ability to bend others to her will.
What the hell is the single mom's power!!! I want to see it in action! I want to see some alter-ego start killing.
Hiro continues to be the best character on the show. He is such a geek about this, and is loving every second of it.
How lame was the Versca advert?
Nice ending. The girl waking up after getting autopsied was priceless.
Once again, this show continues to get better!

That dude was pretty scary, but it makes sense that if the good guys have powers, the bad guys will too.blueheaven wrote: Syler seems able to mimic the powers of heroes he comes in contact with, such as his brother's ability to fly and (possibly) the little girls ability to bend others to her will.
Yeah...he's a lot of fun. He's a good character to contrast with most of the others who are either worried or unhappy about their new abilities.Hiro continues to be the best character on the show. He is such a geek about this, and is loving every second of it.
Hmm...that must have come up while I was on Yahoo Japan, trying to be productive while the commercials were on.How lame was the Versca advert?

True. In the last episode, the little girl's father was frozen and had his brain removed. I think he might have been the cheerleader's real father, and the little girl is her sister. If you think about it, if he had the same powers, maybe removing the brain was the only way to kill him. When the cheerleader took that stick in the brain, she stayed dead until it was removed. Maybe that is her weakness. Remove the brain, and she's dead.Keropi wrote:

My theory still stands: The older brother is Syler, and he can mimic the powers and abilities of anyone he touches. Of course, the way things go in this series, I'll be proven wrong next week.
Here's another crazy thought...What if Syler is from the future? What if Syler absorbed Hiro's ability to time travel, and used it to track down heroes from the past? This would explain why he knows so much about everyone, including where the little girl was being held(it was a secret location, remember?) This is one of those shows that has me thinking in 100 different directions. It is so much fun!

I still didn't get a chance to watch episode 2, but 3 was an improvement.
Especially the ending.
The bad guy(s?) are quite cool looking.
My biggest complaint is that as soon as a segment becomes interesting,
they end it immediately. Like, I could imagine an entire show or just
a singular episode dedicated entirely to just one character from this bunch.
My least favorite are those flying brothers. But the Japanese guys are
just so funny and the cop has become much more intriguing.
It's cool to see Jeph Loeb's artwork but he's also involved with Smallville.
Here's hoping Heroes doesn't become anything like Smallville.

Random, probably wrong, theory...
I'm finding that the friendly neighbor is a bit too friendly and finds clues way
too easily. I think that she's up to something.
1) Could she really in league with the other guys spying on Mohinder?
Perhaps they want him to finish up his father's work so that they can track
down other super-powered individuals to use or kill them.
2) Could she be in league with Syler for whatever reason?
3) Could she BE Syler? After all, we know Syler and Mohinder's dad knew
each other well. We saw a figure that looked like a male which we assumed
was Syler, but was it really and if so, wouldn't shape-changing cover that up?
head could've been telekinesis as could the quick retreat. That would
also fit in with the lifting of the body and sticking the forks in things.
Though, we have the freezing effect as well, so it may be wrong.
Oh..and another theory is that I don't think that the younger brother can
really fly. I think that the older brother is the one with the power and
was levitating his brother or sharing his ability when we saw him fly. It
would explain why he hasn't been able to fly since.

Hmm. It's inconclusive. Having the FBI agent point the gun towards herblueheaven wrote: Syler seems able to mimic the powers of heroes he comes in contact with, such as his brother's ability to fly and (possibly) the little girls ability to bend others to her will.

That would lend even more credence to my theory. I think Syler has been stealing powers for a while now: freezing, telekinesis, healing, etc. If the brother is able to levitate his sibling, that would explain things even more. The only thing that pokes a hole in my theory is: If the brother is Syler, why would he have a news clipping of himself on that tracking board?kymaera wrote:Oh..and another theory is that I don't think that the younger brother can

I also agree that the neighbor is TOO nice and helpfull. I also think that the cheerleader's stepdad is a good guy, possibly a government agent trying to locate these heroes before they are killed off.
