Well I couldn't do it. I couldn't go to the dark side. Everytime I use my MAC at work I just want to beat it with a baseball bat and hurl it out the window.
I caved and bought ANOTHER PC. This time I took some of y'alls advice and stayed with cheaper in-store brands. I went with an HP. I'm still in the process of installing programs that are important to me and once I'm done the store said to bring in a list of the pre-installed programs that I don't want they'll get rid of them for me and optimize the drive.
That really made my day. And for no extra charge.
I don't know what I'll do with my old Alien though. As for warrenties RF I remember having a small one on the Alien. Who knows though...one day I may cave and buy a cheap refurbished MacBook just to "give it a try" and test the waters. So far this laptop seems to be working well and NO wireless issues. I haven't been kicked off ONCE.
It's been heaven. For those in chat I haven't forgotten y'all. I just haven't had time to install that program yet since I'm taking care of my grandmother again. Just no time to really chat.
