EOP - It is a sad fact. It's sad that most folks don't have the opportunity to have the college experience, because of money and/or family obligations. As for the PhD, we'll see. The natl. board process is horrible. One year, many papers, a huge portfolio, and $3000 so I can say that I am "highly qualified" to teach in any state under NCLB.

Kata - I am so proud of what you have achieved. Two children, and a husband on active duty, and you persevered and got your AA degree! You should be so proud of yourself. I know how hard you worked for it.
