Regular season means jack squat in the postseason. But if you want to compare notes...

Boston leads Colorado in every category this postseason except ERA. And Arizona was not exactly a power lineup. Plus, Colorado played in games where Ortiz and Manny each had a bad series. Pedroia and Ellsbury were not yet hitting. Becket was struggling at that time with a stiff back, and Schilling had a bad groin. Drew wasn't hitting. And Youkilis was injured. That series had more to do with how bad the Sox were playing/hurting, not how good the Rockies were. Totally different Red Sox team this go around.

Still should be a good five game series.

I think the eight days the Rockies have been off will actually hurt them, not help. They were red hot, and then... sit around and wait.

The Red Sox are in a groove, finally finding some much needed production from batters other than Manny and Ortiz.

Josh Beckett is just sick, as is Papelbon. But cold weather in Colorado might work against Schilling.

Gonna be a great series, either way.

I have nothing against Colorado, but beating the Indians pretty much made Sox win the World Series. Sry to those not in Boston.
