The further it goes into an anime season the less I watch since I already have a fairly good idea what shows I like and don't like.

Bleach 48 (fairly good - 6.3):
As someone told me earlier, Renji demonstates his coolness by doing things despite realizing his weaknesses. Thumbs up to Renji. Thumbs up for the fight too. /no1

Fate/Stay Night Trailer (decent - 5.6):
It looked nice, but it was so short that you could hardly see anything. You could basically see them fighting and that was it. At least you could see Saber and Rin, but they were extremely brief scenes. :(

Hellsing ULTIMATE OVA Trailer (decent/fairly good - 5.8 ) :
Looked pretty cool. Of course they mainly showed the fight scenes to hype up the anime, but those scenes were pretty cool. Nice battle eh. Oh yeah. :evilblk 8O

Rozen Maiden Traumend Trailer (decent - 5.5):
Looked alright, but they completely avoided showing the two new dolls. Well...I suppose you could see her mouth, but that doesn't really count. I guess they want to keep it a surprise, but I'm looking forward to seeing this since I sort of liked the first series.

Widow 1-2 (fair - 5.0):
artwork - average, characters - blah, story - boring. I just didn't find too much to like about this. :?

[unnamed anime] (mediocre - 4.0):
Congratulations this is only the third adult anime to make me feel ill. :woot:

It's the same director as the SECOND adult anime to make me feel ill so this should be no surprise to me. Usually I try to avoid the really crazy stuff, but sometimes it's not always possible.

Erementar Gerad 23 (decent - 5.75):
It's back to being pleasantly "emotional" again. And more heart and soul is exactly what I needed from this series. Episode 24 looks to be a good one.

DNAngel (very good - 8.5):
I rewatched various episodes and I still like it a lot on many different levels. I guess it's because it has so many story themes that I traditionally like all rolled up into the same anime.

Air Summer Special 1 (decent/fairly good - 5.8 ):
It's always good to see more Air. It looks like they took all the funny parts from the game and stuck them in this anime. At least, that's what I'm assuming. I've never played a game and I've still never played a game before seeing the anime that came from it. :(

Not so much, just a few episodes of Bubblegum Crisis recently! And a bit of Appleseed.

It was a family event, we watched Angelic Layer (half way) & watched Tsubasa 21 (without the girls, just my wife and I). The pace is so slow, I feel like fast forwarding, but my wife won't let me :hurt:

Last thing I watched was the inside of my eyelids.

Aside from that, however... I finished Full Metal Alchemist (and am still kind of vibrating in place trying to sort that out! fabulous.)

and the first episode of GetBackers. Which was sufficiently less gut-wrenching (ooo, bad choice of words) to be a pleasant change. Waiting patiently for the next round of Bleach, Naruto, Trinity Blood, Speed Grapher, Gerad, etc...

and where the heck is the rest of Aquarion?!! I wanna see what happens!

Harumph!

The Doctor : … and then, just to finish off, I’m going to wipe every last stinking Dalek out of the sky !
Dalek : But you have no weapons ! No defenses ! No plan !
The Doctor : Yeah ! And doesn’t that scare you to death ?

It just keeps getting more painful, but you won't be able to stop watching.

I have finally been watching Rahxephon and it is very good. Similar, but quite different than Fafner. Hope to finish it soon :D

I thought I would go through some older shows, but I barely did that at all. :(

Izumo TV (ep. 2 fair - 5.1, ep.3 okay/fair - 5.2):
I thought I would see more of Izumo TV to be more certain if I liked this show or not. I liked the Izumo OVA (based off the first Izumo game) enough to consider it maybe my 17th to 20th favorite adult anime. But no such luck. I still don't like the simple character designs. I'm spoiled off the game's awesome artwork (?Kazue Yamamoto):

http://ekizo.mandarake.co.jp/aucimg/6/9 ... 96920.jpeg

and the action scenes are so low budget they give Eien no Aseria's a run for their money. :shrug

Bleach 49 (fairly good - 6.3):
More backstory, but in this case it was very substantive. We finally got this sad tale explained. And we finally have the link up to a flashback scene and a statement by a vice-captain from early in the series.

Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan 7-8 (end)(okay/decent - 5.5):
I thought the ending was okay. It's a good place to end it I think before it begins to get stale. This episode had more censoring than the earlier TV edited broadcasts that I've seen.

Ichigo Mashimaro 7 (watching it unsubbed - okay - 5.4):
This was more of a slice-of-life episode compared to the rolling jokes/bust your gut laughing episodes from early in the series. Miu's crazy antics are expected from me now so her jokes don't come off as funny as they used to. :shrug

Erementar Gerad 24 (fairly good - 5.8 ):
Argh! It's getting painful now. Cliffhanger ending. 8O :O

Air Summer Special 2 (decent - 5.6):
Nice second half. I felt melancholy while watching it - knowing what the characters will experience later on. :l

Shuffle 9 (okay - 5.4):
I guess the R-15 rating for this episode was because of nudity. But there really wasn't THAT much nudity unless if they did something I'm not aware of. Can't say I found it too exciting, but the next episode looks more substantive than this one. :|

Well I shouldn't actually admit this in public, but having taken flack in the past for buying cels from shows I haven't seen, I watched the first episode of

Wordsworth

last night.

So I now have seen two hentai shows of which I adore the art. Why are they both so darn FUNNY? :rollin

I just finish watching Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade on DVD.

Excellent anime movie. Not an action based flick, but it has a fine story. Great twist and turns throughout. Superb artwork.
