I guess I am pretty late for this thread as well.....

My mom is now 78 years old and 60 years ago, my mom was in Hiroshima (their family lived there at the time). My mom was fortunate that she did not get injured by the bomb, but a couple of my uncles were killed by the bomb.

My mom told me how one of my uncle died from the bomb and it was really sad.... So this insident is very close to me.... (also she told me how horrible going thru the middle of the war....)

War is hell. You cannot imagine how horrible it is. (one of my mom's stories is when she was running away with her friend from rain of bullets, her friend died while they were holding their hands, etc etc).

I do not really want to talk about politics as well b/c I do think that causing war is the biggest mistake of any kind of goverment and no excuse for this.

And thank you baakay! for bringing this thread for the ppl who died from the bomb :friends:
