There sure is.

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

I agree. The only bit of luck they had was the own goal. But after that, they still had to hold the Italians to ONE goal, and that is a feat. They were really agressive in the midfield and did not give them too many shots on goal. My players of the match were Keller for a great job goalkeeping, and Onyewu for constantly getting in the face of Toni and fouling him the entire match.In_Gabriel_We_Trust wrote:
And there is absolutely no way the US was lucky against Italy.
Based on the strength and talent of the Italians, they should have crushed the US. But they didn't.[/i]

He said it was crazzzzy, as in the fans are crazy insane. He also said that everyone walked around with guns (automatics, semi, and pistols) crazy shiyet lol...when he got home, hes like heres your present and gave me a brazil jersey!!! i was sooo happy. i wore it today with the armstrong yellow wrist band and another green wrist band. So i was matching.

You really do? A lot of people like that. I prefer personal sports.

Well, now that the Netherlands are out, here's my picks...
Quarterfinals:
Brazil over France 2-1
England over Portugal 1-0
Ukraine over Italy 3-2
Argentina over Germany 4-1
Semifinals:
Brazil over England 1-1(Wins on penalties)
Argentina over Ukraine 2-0
Finals:
Argentina over Brazil 2-0
This is by no means scientific, nor would I bet money on these results. Just a gut feeling I have after a few weeks of watching these teams. To me, England would be the upset here. They are playing each team just hard enough to win. Critics call them lazy, but I think they are just doing enough in each game to win, and they can score clutch goals when needed.

Anybody watch the game between France and Spain!?!??!?! What the!? I sat and watched as the last 10 minutes went to France itself. Spain's winning streak, killed in this game. Anybody else's mouth drop when they saw this? O_o

I thought Ghana beating the Czechs was going to be the upset of the tourney, but now I'd have to say France has it. They did not quit, even when time was ticking down.(By the way, did I not call the score to that match in chat a few days back? 3-1 France? They have owned Spain in major matches this year).SME wrote:Anybody watch the game between France and Spain!?!??!?! What the!? I sat and watched as the last 10 minutes went to France itself. I must also say that I am enjoying the fact that the refs are losening up in terms of offsides calls. It makes for more interesting games and keeps the momentum going. If folks want Americans to embrace soccer, they have to losen up on offsides calls and stop waiving yellow cards for every single tackle or handcheck. Save em for the obvious ones and keep the game moving!

I can see your point of view but the game was a disgrace to the sport.
But it sure changedthe pace from the more boring games in the tournament.

Dalek : But you have no weapons ! No defenses ! No plan !
The Doctor : Yeah ! And doesn’t that scare you to death ?
