What comes to my mind is the idea nobody will really die, if and when Hiro learns to control his teleportation abilities he can come back and rescue others (like the artist).
Look forward to seeing the show this Friday!

Peter's the artist and Isaac is the nurse? I don't remember their names.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the same hope. I like him too much for him to get killed so quickly. But then again, usually my favorite characters get axed. *sigh*blueheaven wrote:What the hell did they do to Matt? Please say he isn't hollowed out now!
Okay, I'm only basing this on having watched each episode once, so if I get events jumbled up, please correct me.kymaera wrote:Oh..and another theory is that I don't think that the younger brother canblueheaven wrote: Syler seems able to mimic the powers of heroes he comes in contact with, such as his brother's ability to fly and (possibly) the little girls ability to bend others to her will.
really fly. I think that the older brother is the one with the power and
was levitating his brother or sharing his ability when we saw him fly. It
would explain why he hasn't been able to fly since.
Actually, after last night's episode, I think you're on the right track. If the theory that Syler can copy powers is true, I see the younger brother as being able to "experience" other people's powers, but not directly copy i.e. levitation v. older brother's flight, seeing hiro's time power in the subway, isaac's dreams without the heroin, etc. It seems like the younger brother is the key, despite the "save the cheerleader, save the world" mantra.
