I haven't seen episode #3 yet.

What comes to my mind is the idea nobody will really die, if and when Hiro learns to control his teleportation abilities he can come back and rescue others (like the artist).

Look forward to seeing the show this Friday! :)

Look for it at the video store.

Dammit! It's been a while since I love and HATED a show so much. X-Files maybe? Every week I think I know more, but then I realize I know jack! Oh well, at least I got to see Miss Split Personality do her thing. That was awesome. But who the hell is Syler!!! I still think Claire's stepdad is a good guy, otherwise why would he let Claire live? Damn I love Hiro. "Ruet it ruide!"

Peter - Nurse
Isaac - Artist
Hiro - Time Traveler
Claire - Cheerleader
Nathan - Flying Politician
Niki - Alter Ego gal
Matt - Psychic Cop

What the hell did they do to Matt? Please say he isn't hollowed out now!

I read a few small spoilers from last weeks TV Guide while I was bored and waiting at the Supermarket this afternoon.

They didn't reveal anything major, but it gives me something to look forward to seeing in the next few episodes. :)

Since this story has so many multiple storylines going at the same time, there's always something you can't wait to see in the next episode. :bwall

Another great episode tonight. I really liked the bit at the end. They
definitely know how to make a cliffhanger work.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the same hope. I like him too much for him to get killed so quickly. But then again, usually my favorite characters get axed. *sigh*

I'm having bad vibes about Claire's adopted father. I don't think he's Silar, but I don't think he's a good guy either.

The zinger endings on this show are agonizing. I'm ready for next Monday night.

I like the fact that Isaac has to do "hero"in to get his power to work.
(sorry, couldn't resist the pun...) :P :ZzZz:

The cheerleader's revenge was awesome.

There is no need to apologize. It's possible.

Oh..and another theory is that I don't think that the younger brother can
really fly. I think that the older brother is the one with the power and
was levitating his brother or sharing his ability when we saw him fly. It
would explain why he hasn't been able to fly since.
Okay, I'm only basing this on having watched each episode once, so if I get events jumbled up, please correct me.

I think it's pretty clear cut that the older brother can fly and that he knows he can fly. His talk with the single mom was enlightening.

So expanding on Kymaera's and Brian's theories, this made me think that the younger brother might be an "anti-Syler". If the theory that Syler can copy powers is true, I see the younger brother as being able to "experience" other people's powers, but not directly copy i.e. levitation v. older brother's flight, seeing hiro's time power in the subway, isaac's dreams without the heroin, etc. It seems like the younger brother is the key, despite the "save the cheerleader, save the world" mantra.

Now that I've typed that all out, I can't see this being the case, but it was a nice mental tangent to follow.

Actually, after last night's episode, I think you're on the right track. Perhaps
there are other conditions...I would guess that there is also a proximity
limitation...that he has to be within a certain distance of the person to mimic
their power.

A lot of people say that about him.

Here's my tenth revised theory:

I think Syler is Peter's daughter, from the future. She is the child of Peter and the woman he slept with. She has Peter's powers, and stole Hiro's ability to travel through time some time in the future. She has used these powers to travel back in time, when the heroes are just appearing, and steal their powers...killing them. Now, whois Syler? The woman who is helping the scientist!
