What you said was either too simple for me.

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

So I've been meaing to ask this I'm just a little slow. Why are people deciding not to ship internationally anymore? So what if the postage went up? You just ask for more. I really don't see the big deal. I stated in my auctions that the price increase was due to the postage going up. I had no problems. I also saw when I went to the post office that I can ship Global Priority for a starting price of $16. I would simply refund my international bidder if the shipping price was indeed $16 and I charged $24.
And like several of our international friends here have said, the dollar is weak in Europe. They're still getting a good deal for the US.

Can you hear this fangirl squee?!

I still ship internationally, but just increase what people have to pay for postage. I just sent a package to France and it cost me $23 with insurance. It's a big nuisance and annoyance, but there's really nothing we can do about it unless we just all stopped sending packages.
Priority and Parcel post in the US ticked me off a bit. The price jump for not only dimensions but also weight nearly killed me when I was sending a gift off to a friend in Texas. Just have to raise the prices that's all, but I can see it affecting people because most don't like to pay that much for shipping anyhow, and you might lose more bidders when it comes to shipping rates. It's a catch-22.

I do agree with the lot of you. I just finished sending a bunch of Auction items out after 2 trips to the PO during this busy week and I got lucky since most of them were in the US. But yes international is a pain now.. it's going to be very hard to sell and ship since most will be like, "Hell no I am not paying that."

Shipping rates all over the world has seemed to go up! This is insane! I used to send some bills vis priority mail but now I have to either send them a week or pay over the phone and have to pay an extra fee. Cel shipping is crazy no wonder the business has been slow for a while! It's a dying artform.

My cat Temperance I call her Tempe for short.

My cat Seeley is a Sailor Moon fan, too!
I didn't anticipate on having a black female cat and a white male cat or I would have named them Luna and Artemis... oh well.

People might not want to ship internationally because they will get complaints about the shipping prices. Or, buyers will try to get around it. On my last auctions, I had an international buyer asking if I would ship to her friend in the US. I doubt you'd be covered as a seller if you did something like that.
