You seem uncertain. I never noticed that similarity.

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

G Gundam : 3 eps a day keeps the doctor away.
And inspired by the threads about the World Series, I watched the "Baseball/Football"-arc of Space Adventure Cobra (for the umpteenth time).

The Doctor : … and then, just to finish off, I’m going to wipe every last stinking Dalek out of the sky !
Dalek : But you have no weapons ! No defenses ! No plan !
The Doctor : Yeah ! And doesn’t that scare you to death ?

What does "this" refer to?

Thursdays are great! Rozen Maiden Traumend, Mai Otome, Solty Rei and Shuffle all come out on Thursday. Karin starts next week so that'll make it FIVE shows I watch on Thursdays.
Anime in the order I seen them:
Canvas 2 ep. 3 (okay - 5.4):
This episode focused on Hagino. It was mostly a light humourous episode. We find out her special skill. I thought it was fairly funny, sometimes silly, but overall not bad. They had some "in-the-box" gaming jokes in it such as the Pia Carrot 3 waitress uniform I thought was somewhat clever.
Mushishi (fairly good - 6.0):
I thought this was pretty good. The animation was decent and I liked the story.
Rewatched Shuffle 14 just to see exactly what they were saying. I only had a generally idea earlier. I can see that they explained important stuff, but still left out a lot of other important points. If you understand what parts of the story they still haven't explained, it makes the scenes in episode 14 even sadder.
Bleach 55 (fairly good - 6.2):
Who said that this episode reminded them of Dragonball Z? LOL
To Heart 2 ep. 4 (okay/decent - 5.5):
I think I am getting more into the swing of this series now. The main reason is because I read a number of the girl's stories from the To Heart 2 game:
http://bluemist.animeblogger.net/toheart2/
They seem to be decent stories. To Heart 2's game stories seem to me to be better stories as a group than To Heart's. But really...To Heart 1-2 were never known for their strong stories, but for their likeable characters.
The main two girls of To Heart 2 are Tamaki and Konomi. Manaka was featured in episode 3 and her friend Yuma in this one. They both had somewhat dramatic stories in the game, but the anime only had 24 minutes to tell each of their stories. So we only got about a third of their game stories condensed into one episode per girl. If you take just about any romance story and only adapt a condensed version of the first third it wouldn't be too good. Most of the best parts would be left out.
Anyway...I liked seeing episodes 3-4 even if I didn't get to see the better parts of their stories.
Shakugan no Shana 4 (decent - 5.6):
There was more humor in this episode and a couple of minor cliches, but the ending had a nice little action sequence. Hmm...are they actually setting up a future

here? ?^_^? Rozen Maiden - Träumend 2 (watching it unsubbed - okay/decent - 5.5): A couple of the characters are in a funk, but there's stuff going on behind the scenes as well. Suiseiseki is quite funny here. ![]() Canvas 2 ep. 4 (okay/decent - 5.5): We had another connection with the first Canvas game. Aya made an appearance here. Her younger sister Sumire appears in Canvas 2. Aya must have been a secret character or from a later version of the Canvas 1 game because I don't remember her at all. I don't recall her being in the Canvas 1 anime either and she's not in the original Canvas game opening. ?^_^? Nanao Naru working on (some of) the character designs of the Canvas 2 game like she did for Da Capo and Suika helps me to enjoy the character designs. ![]() Jigoku Shoujo 4 (okay - 5.3): With lower expectations now for this series I watched episode 4. I think there might be a pattern to the way they are telling the stories. The peek-overhead shot of Ai was kind of nice. ![]() ![]() Lamune 3 (fair - 5.1): It's weird how much I like Osananajimi (Childhood Friend) scenes and yet still find all these scenes in Lamune to be so generic and ordinary. I don't think they have any special feeling about them unlike the ones in Wind ~aBoH, ONE, To Heart, Kanon, Tenkousei, etc. ![]() Mai Otome 4 (okay - 5.4): Nice scene at the beginning there. lol ![]() Solty Rei 4 (okay - 5.4): I heard Kenichi Sonoda created the designs of the equipment. That explains why certain objects make me think of the ones from Bubblegum Crisis. This episode was more serious than the last one. It was okay if not too original. Gunparade Orchestra 3 (okay/decent - 5.5): This show would be more fun to watch on a big TV. There was another battle in this episode. The episode four's animation quality apparently took a hit judging from the episode preview at the end. ![]() Shuffle 15 (fairly good - 6.0): The characters sometimes looked a bit simple in the face, but overall the shading and the colors looked great. It's almost as if I was watching a High Definition raw. There was a lot of good stuff here. [spoiler] explains THAT. There was a big AHA!!! moment for me when I finally realized what a scene from way back really meant. ![]() |

Still working my way slowly through Getbackers...now through ep. 20.
So many bishies, so little time!
Also the obvious: "Curry of Life: This Time It's Personal!" (Naruto 157). Blugh.
Caught up with all my usuals...Bleach, Trinity Blood, Blood+ etc..(what's with the blood, anyway??) Had a little mini-marathon of Beet the Vandel Buster yesterday. Yes, it's a stupid show, but for some reason I love it to bits. It's just...fun
Oooo! and on Kymaera's recommendation I tried out one called Jigoku Shoujo, which I am REALLY intrigued by!! Very dark. It reminds me of a cross between Vampire Princess Miyu and Deathnote, a manga that had a preview in Shonen Jump awhile back.
Too many things to keep track of!!
