Gundam Seed Destiny completed with ep 50

Vampire Hunter D, BloodLust (plus I read the novel)

and have rewatched episodes of Hikaru no Go several times

and rewatched the InuYasha movie 3

Went to see Curse of the Were-rabbit Saturday night which was pretty good.

Finished up Honey & Clover which was an excellent series.

Got caught up on Monster.

I work less hours this week and I was off work today so I tried to catch up on my lower priority anime that I got behind on. Nearly all of the anime I want to watch RIGHT NOW comes out Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays.

To Heart 2 ep. 5 (okay - 5.3):
This episode centered around Karin. She's the persident of the Mystery Club. I have a feeling I'll probably find her story to be the least interesting out of the eight To Heart 2 stories. Karin should hook up with Sentimental Graffiti's/Journey's Emiru (or that school club guy in Iriya no Sora). They would get along just fine since they're all into unexplained phenomena.

It looks like Ruuko is going to be featured in the sixth episode. ~ruu \o/

MINOR SPECULATIVE VERY VAGUE GUESSING AS TO HEART 2/SHUFFLE ANIME ENDING:

I have a feeling that the To Heart 2 and Shuffle anime are going to end the same way. That's just my sneaking suspicion.

Canvas 2 ep. 5 (okay - 5.3):
We had some rough edges with this person.

GunxSword 19 (fair - 5.1):
Van still talks through the bottom of his throat.

It's cool that just about everybody shows up in the opening credits now. The only "thing" that doesn't show up is that bot-like image that shows up directly after the balletic [person]. We had more mecha battles here which I didn't find very involving. The only part I liked about this episode was the last three and a half minutes.

Temptation 1-2 (fair - 5.1):
Nothing unusual except for the ending.

I'm surprised this "person" didn't get killed (as per the common cliche for nasty characters in "hentai" anime).

Futakoi Alternative 13 (final episode)(okay/fair - 5.2):
I thought this had the potential to have a strong ending, but I didn't think the ending was particularly unusual, emotional or strong. This show kept alternating being being dramatic and being frivolous. First it's not taking itself seriously, then it is, then it isn't, then it is. Back and forth so much that I was never able to get into the flow of it. In the back of my mind I kept thinking that they were about to switch gears again.

Noein 3 (okay - 5.4):
This anime's action scenes with their grand sounding music continue to feel more like something in a movie instead of a TV series. I sort of liked this episode, but I still can't get into it fully since I have no idea what the hell is going on. ?^_^?

Mushishi 2 (decent/fairly good - 5.7):
I liked the second episode too. It began like one of the Heian Era Japanese fables in my Giniro game (although it didn't end like them

). This looks to be an enjoyable series for me.

To Heart 2 ep. 6 (okay - 5.4):
This episode centered on "Ruuko". She's a rather strange person, but I found her character fairly fun.

Shakugan no Shana 6 (decent - 5.6):
Not much to say on this one. It passed by a bit too fast I think.

Karin 2 (okay - 5.4):
Continues the spirit of the manga from the first episode. They picked the right seiyuu to play Karin's brother (Junichi Suwabe). He's the same seiyuu who is the villain in Shakugan no Shana. Karin's brother is such a slick, sneaky playboy type and Junichi Suwabe slides right into that role. Boy...they sure added a lot of fanservice shots to the non-anime sections of the show (such as the opening). You'd think that the manga is brimming with fanservice which it isn't.

Shuffle 17 (decent/fairly good - 5.7):
I thought this was a nice little episode. **thumbs up**

I enjoyed this cute and funny episode. It was a bit touching too. But it looks like we're in for another all-comedy episode for episode five.

I have spent the last couple of days unselfishly donating my time to
educating and enlightening the anime-deprived people around me.

Thursday night, I showed several episodes of the Irresponsible Captain
Tylor and Ranma 1/2 (the martial arts rhythmic gymnastics arc) to one of my
friends.

Last night, I introduced Card Captor Sakura to an unfortunate waif who had
only met her unfortunate, prostituted-out sleazy cousin Cardcraptors. Then,
while she was still amazed and awed at that, I showed her part of another of
my top three animes of all time: Saber Marionette J.
