You are indeed anime's answer to Doctors Without Borders :D

The Doctor : … and then, just to finish off, I’m going to wipe every last stinking Dalek out of the sky !
Dalek : But you have no weapons ! No defenses ! No plan !
The Doctor : Yeah ! And doesn’t that scare you to death ?

It's been a long week. I haven't had time to watch much and when I did the added stress made everything feel more mediocre and bland: :(

Solty Rei 6 (okay/fair - 5.2):
Unfortunately the individual stories are becoming pretty predictable. This episode was cliched and I have seen this story done so many times before in other anime. This series is becoming quite run-of-the-mill and ordinary for me and that's unfortunate. :(

To Heart 2 ep. 7 (okay/fair - 5.2):
I didn't get too much into this episode. It didn't have the feel of the first To Heart series where everything felt fairly normal (even if idealistic). It was like a story that could only happen on a printed page or in a game and never in real life because it ended way too cleanly. It felt very artificial. I think this episode was mostly made up only for the sake of the anime and that would explain a lot. The next episode with the twins might be good though. :)

Bleach 58 - (no rating)
Pretty fun episode. It's even more fun because [unnamed character] is so cocky. :D Next episode should be good.

I skimmed through Shakugan no Shana 7, but didn't watch much of it. There's too much dialog and it's not interesting enough to watch not knowing a lot of what they're saying. The blonde woman is beginning to get on my nerves. X|

Memories Off 3.5 Inori no Todoku Toki ep.1-2 (ep.1 okay - 5.3, ep.2 okay - 5.4):
I had to watch the two MemOff 3.5 OVA series since there were sketches from them that showed up on YJ. I didn't get too much into the first episode except for the ending. The second episode was kind of neat though because of it's story structure.

MINOR SPOILERS:
It made me wonder if those were two different pathways from the game. It was interesting and it made it feel more sad than it would have been otherwise with a "regular" story structure.

The MemOff anime have always been plagued with lower than average quality animation. I thought the first episode had better animation quality than the first MemOff OVA, but the animation took a big drop in the second episode. X|

Memories Off 3.5 Omoide no Kanata e ep.2 (okay - 5.3):
Hey...they had a long scarf scene like the one they had in the Kakyuusei TV series from five years earlier. :P

I ended up not bidding on any of the MemOff sketches. :)

Rozen Maiden - Träumend 5 (okay - 5.3):
This wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I thought it was fairly cute and funny. Episode six should be awesome though. I am really looking forward to this new storyline coming up. 8O 8O 8O

Karin 3 (okay/decent - 5.5):
Okay now we're getting to the part that wasn't scanlated. But I can understand more of what's going on because I can understand more Japanese by HEARING it than I can by READING it. LOL
:ok: :^^:

Shuffle! 18 (decent/fairly good - 5.7):
We got a lot of everything in this episode. It started off being very fun and enjoyable. I busted a gut laughing during one scene. :^^: But the ending was sad. During this entire length of time there was that lingering [plot] left hanging sadly in the background. The artwork was pretty nice this time. It looks like the next episode is going to be very serious - more serious than it has ever been up to this point... :bawl ...I'm looking forward to seeing it. Six episodes to go and they're already pulling this out. 8O This should be good.

Revolutionary Girl Utena, disc 4. Sadly ... no Touga on this disc --- except in the opening sequence, which I re-watched multiple times.

Eyeshield 21 eps 22-24. I am really getting into this series as it reminds me of "Captain Tsubasa",which I saw years ago but with some strange humor added. :D

Bleach 58!

8O 8O 8O

And yes, still working ever so slowly through Get Backers. Geez I love these guys, even when their situations get retarded.

On the agenda for today: catch up with Beet, Shakugan no Shana, Ueki and Blood. :D

Last night, I rewatched a good chunk of Saber Marionette J (finding out
exactly where one of my cels was from in the process).

Today, I've watched episodes of Karin, Rozen Maiden Traumend, Aquarion.
Ichigo Mashimaro, Lyrical Nanoha A's and Yakitate Japan.

Lyrical Nanoha A's... Yep, that one I just started watching as well. Very cute character design and story. Very moe :)

Did you watch the first season? I found it quite enjoyable. It was nothing
spectacular, but it was nice and consistently good throughout the entire
season.

Hey, I can finally put something here! (I never watch anything anymore! :( )

I watched the Cowboy Bebop movie. (Enjoyable. But not great. Though there are a few shots of Spike that I would loooove to find the cels to match! ;))

I also watched Kung Fu Hustle! Tons'o'fun!! It was violent, but then funny, and unexpectedly touching too. Loved it!
