Sure did. It took a while to get the downloads, but I thought it was worth it. I liked the character designs, especially Fate-chan, and again, I lament the lack of any production art to collect. I'm a sucker for cute characters in anime, but I suppose that's obvious from my selection of cels...

I like the second season of A's even better. This is one of the only mahou shojo shows that I have encountered where the characters use their magic against each other rather than the monster of the week. I wonder how many episodes this season will have. If it is anything like the first season, I guess it will have 13, but I could not find any statement that makes that claim on the website.

I wonder if Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha is considered a shounen or shoujo series? Most of us considered it a shounen series since Nanoha was based off a character from a shounen anime and a shounen game (Triangle Hearts 3). I've never found out how the show was being marketed though.

I always considered it to be shoujo, but given the late time slots that it shows in Japan, I suppose it could be shounen. Given the malleability of the genera and interchangability of the story elements nowdays, its getting harder to put any one anime in either bucket.

Last night, I continued in my mission to educate the anime-deprived.

First, the last third of Saber Marionette J was presented. The good side effect
of this was that I managed to locate where three of my cels were from (and
have since updated my gallery with screenshots).

Second, the entirety of Dragon Half was viewed (both episodes).

Finally, a whopping six episodes of Adventures of the Mini-Goddess was
enjoyed.

Today, I only watched Bleach #59 this morning (from which my current
avatar was taken.

But I intend to watch more starting now.

I spent most of today pfutzing around with various and sundry projects, including the threatened Beet catch-up (4 eps). Heavens help me but I have no idea why I enjoy this kiddie show so much.

Watched Bleach 59 (glorious is a perfect word for it), Yakitate 44, Blood + 5, and am about to watch 6.

I finally got in my box set of Gokudo DVDs, and the girls and I started watching it last night. I had forgotten just *exactly* how funny parts of it are... the Spouzal Unit walked in just in time to see Gokudo come by his amazing sword. He breaks up. Now, this is not a moment fraught with slapstick, puns, or any of the usual sources for hilarity -- we all looked at him and he said "no! wait! back it up and look! It's hilarious! He has a Card Captor Sakura wand on the end of the sword!" and indeed he does... and when we meet Seigi, Seigi's sword also has the same adornment. :P

Never underestimate a good giggle. :D

Very little time to watch much of anything this week. :O

Shakugan no Shana 7 (okay/decent - 5.5):
Yuji shows his helpfulness once again. His bravery shows that he's not Generic Male Lead (TM). :) Are we setting up a couple future enemies here? I hope not.

Fate/Stay Night Prologue (pretty darn cool):
Some very good voice actors are going to be in this. Ayako Kawasumi (Mahoro in Mahoromatic, Chikane in Kannaduki no Miko) as Saber works out great because she's both a tough and cute character at the same time. Noriaki Sugiyama (Ishida in Bleach, Sasuke in Naruto) as Shirou. Jouji Nakata as Kirei (Alucard in Hellsing), Miki Itou (Asa-sempai in Shuffle!) as Taiga "Fuji-nee" Fujimura.
/no1

Bleach 59:
Enjoyed this one a lot. Some nice Orihime scenes here. :D

Shakugan no Shana 8 (decent/fairly good - 5.7):
Pretty cool episode. Some decent action scenes. The next episode looks mostly comedic. Everyone is half naked. :^^: I guess we need a fun break around this point in the series anyway.

Rozen Maiden - Träumend 6 (decent - 5.6):
MINOR SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE MANGA, BUT MODERATE SPOILERS IF YOU HAVE:
In this episode they got the anime story back on track with the manga story. It was a nice episode and I enjoyed the background music. Kind of cute scene there on the windowsill. :love2
Shuffle! 19 (okay/decent - 5.5):
Okay now I can see why a lot of gameplayers don't like Kaede and are making all those School Days in-jokes:
Image <------Kotonoha in School Days. :puzzled

The Shuffle anime is becoming disturbing now just like the School Days game was. 8O 8O

We could easily lose a lot Shuffle viewers in the next few weeks. :puzzled :(
