LOL, happened to me this morning. Someone asked me what I ended up watching last night. I told him "Snatch". I wasn't even thinking of the double meaning, until the awkward silence started setting in and you could start seeing the pink in his cheek....
Once I realized what he thought I meant, I laughed and told him that it was a good movie that had some of my favorite characters in it like Benicio Del Toro, Jason Statham, Brad Pitt (I don't care what anyone says, I liked him in fight club & seven) & etc.
Maybe I shouldn't have said anything, miscommunication are sometimes funny
(I just woke up since I had a late night shift Saturday and then had to work 4AM to 12:15 PM on Sunday.)
So what did you think of those weird Shuffle 19-20 episodes Ashura? I'd be curious to hear. Like or dislike?
Since I don't want to spoil it for anybody, I'm putting my response into spoiler mode
I was a bit shocked (yes I am a goober). I knew there were going to be sadness in each of the girls flashback, but I didn't expect Kaeda's psychological instability. I thought it was going to somehow improve in ep 20, but it made me feel worse and the end...oh boy, just spiralling down .
I like both Asa and Kaeda. But I ended up liking Kaeda even more when she told Rin off about making up his own mind and not to go out with someone just because people tells him to. But the Asa's instability made the whole feel of Shuffle change dramatically. I hope they don't end it with Rin choosing Asa just to take care of her (crazy psycho b%tch) Maybe they'll make to where she finds strength in herself. Though I wonder if they'll end the series with Kaeda dying in the end ...
I'm not sure if I like ep 19 & 20. I liked the Asa & Rin part, but the Kaeda part just made me sad. I can't wait for ep 21
Wow Keropi, I hope your work schedule gets better ! I don't sleep well, but it would be worst if my work schedule was like that
Last night, I watched Shuffle 20, the latest Karin (5?) and the last three
episodes of Futakoi Alternative.
Shuffle 20 was interestingly dark. Rin finally realizes a fraction of how
dense he really is.
Karin is still being a consistently good watch..nothing spectacular, but worth
watching. (Also, got Baakay to start watching the series by sending her a
capture of Karin's brother from this episode's eyecatch. It made her drool
more than she was already doing).
Futakoi Alternative was disappointing. I was too distracted by the whole
squid-monster angle which sucked to enjoy the rest of it. Would've been
tons better without that.
I just fairly recently got into korean drama, and boy it might be even more addicting than anime, especially if you like to cry. anyone else into korean dramas??? I recommend:
