Now I'm hearing more word that Fate/Stay Night will be 24 episodes. Someone posted that Fate/Stay Night will be eight R1 DVDs. Assuming this is true and Fate/Stay Night will be 24 episodes long...it's time to celebrate! Yay! \o/
Karin 7 (fair - 5.1):
I didn't get much into this episode. That Weiner guy is too annoying. >_<; I'm kind of frustrated that the anime is including the stuff I didn't like about the manga and leaving out the parts I DID like.
Kagimono (Kagihime Monogatari) 2 (okay - 5.3):
This is now a borderline "regular watch" for me. I like this the second best out of the first seven new TV anime series I've seen so far (which isn't saying much
).
Magikano 2 (okay/fair - 5.2):
The first few minutes I thought were funny, but then it got too wacky non-funny for me. This episode introduced Yuri. Tenshi no Shippo's character designer works on this show which explains the characters appearances. The next episode looks to be more serious.
To Heart ~ RMM Special Footage 1-7 (okay - 5.4):
I found this omake to the To Heart ~ Remember My Memories Series to be rather funny.
I think I like the first episode the best. To see Tomoko and Lemmy going at each other was too much.
Kasimasi 1 (okay - 5.3):
http://kasimasi.com/
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclo ... hp?id=5835
Genre: Seinen, Comedy, Romance, Shoujo Ai
This episode went pretty much the way how I expected considering I browsed through the first few chapters of the manga. My impression is that they set things up more straightforward than the manga. Hazumu's seiyuu doesn't sound like a guy at all (even by anime standards).
Shakugan no Shana 14 (decent/fairly good - 5.7):
Another enjoyable episode. The Opening hasn't changed yet to the Kotoko song. Pretty funny at the beginning, but later it feels like something bad is about to happen.
Fighting women in maid outfits are always cool. LOL
Rozen Maiden - Träumend 10 (fairly good - 6.2):
I liked this episode quite a bit. I think the reasons it affected me so much were that the scenes went on for so long and that they reminded me of sad stuff from Real Life (TM). I'm highly anticipating the next episode. I've read small discription snippets of the manga and I'm hoping for a good ending for this show.

And then what happened to you?

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

The Doctor : … and then, just to finish off, I’m going to wipe every last stinking Dalek out of the sky !
Dalek : But you have no weapons ! No defenses ! No plan !
The Doctor : Yeah ! And doesn’t that scare you to death ?

Fate/stay night 2 (decent/fairly good - 5.7):
I liked this episode. I liked the music. I liked the mood and Lancer was appropriately amusing. This should be fun watching unfold. **thumbs up**
Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora : looking up at the half-moon 1 ("Hantsuki" for short)(okay - 5.3):
http://www.hantsuki.com/
http://www.animenfo.com/animetitle,3503 ... tsuki.html
Genre: Seinen, drama, romance
This seems to be a fairly decent senen romance so far (a different manner of romance from kind I usually watch). I guess all the painful roadblocks will start showing up now.
Ayakashi 1 - watching it raw (no rating):
http://www.toei-anim.co.jp/tv/ayakashi/
http://www.animenfo.com/animetitle,3044 ... kashi.html
Genre: Fantasy, Historical Settings, Horror
I never expected THAT type of music to be played at the beginning of a classical Japanese story.
I need to view this subtitled. I may or may not like this when I see it subbed (probably not since this isn't my genre of anime), but I'm positive I can't enjoy this raw.
Kage Kara Mamoru! 2 (okay/fair - 5.25):
I was about to write this show off, but then it started to get funny. Or perhaps it's just because I find jokes bounced off those serious sword girl types (Maburaho/Guardian Hearts/Love Hina) to be amusing.
I'll keep watching this since it's still amusing enough.

I'm surprised you're able to watch both shows at the same time and keep the stories straight.Ashura wrote:Mai-Otome - 13

Kagihime Monogatari 3 (watching it unsubbed - okay/fair - 5.2):
Watching this raw, it was rather hard to tell exactly what was going on. It seemed to be more of a fun episode explaining how the Alice World works and to introduce the new character. But watching it raw wasn't very fun. **yawn** I doubt I'd like it much more subbed though.
Kasimasi 2 (okay - 5.4):
Call me a goofy sentimentalist, but I kind of liked this episode. Those jokes involving the teacher were real silly, but I still found this to be fairly entertaining overall. Tomari is pretty fun even if she is the obvious cliche tomboy.
Shakugan no Shana 15 (decent - 5.6):
I liked this, but not as much as the last episode. Wilhelma is pretty cool, but some of the costume designs look a little weird.
Magikano 3 (okay - 5.3):
I found this kind of funny (more so in the first half), but as with the first two episodes I felt it went a bit overboard in the comedy for my taste. The voice acting was funny even when I had no idea what they were saying.
Fate/stay night 3 (watching it unsubbed - okay - 5.4):
The fight was well done, but this episode is very similiar to the second episode of Shakugan no Shana. We had a very long conversation explaining how the system works. Next episode should be all around more interesting than this one. I'm going to avoid Fate/stay night threads until the anime is near the end. There are too many posters throwing out and hinting at too many spoilers.
Tactical Roar 2 (fair - 5.1):
The first episode had mostly comedic scenes introducing the nearly all female crew of an anti-pirating seagoing ship. The second episode had much more action in it. This anime reminds me in some ways of Captain Tyler and Gunparade Orchestra. This "green" crew consists of a bunch of individuals with weird quirks. Obviously it's going to take some work to get this crew spit and polished. I think what this show comes down to is that you have to either care about the characters or enjoy the comedy. Since I don't enjoy either, I'm afraid I won't be watching any more of this.
Rozen Maiden - Träumend 11 (decent - 5.6):
Decent episode, but I think the final episode will be much more interesting than this one. Not much in this one except the stuff we already knew would happen. Hopefully the last episode will explain satisfactorily what all that stuff was about. ?^_^?

Then the Dean repeated the mantra that has had such a marked effect on the progress of knowledge through the ages.
'Why don't we just mix up absolutely everything and see what happens?' he said.
And Ridcully responded with the traditional response. "It's got to be worth a try,' he said
