Not sure how I feel about this. Prisoner of Azkaban was such a dark, adult feeling movie, and this trailer just feels kinda meh to me. Its got way too much of the "hey! lets cram as much CG into a movie as possible since its cool!" feeling going on.....all style no substance. I'd still like to see this (if I can find some place in the podunk city im in in Japan that shows it with subs or something), but I don't think its going to be as big of a priority as it once was.

What do you see?

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

This is the only movie I'm really looking forward to come out this year.
(the end of November is still so long away)

It looks fantastic. You definately can feel the epic grandure of this one.

The Doctor : … and then, just to finish off, I’m going to wipe every last stinking Dalek out of the sky !
Dalek : But you have no weapons ! No defenses ! No plan !
The Doctor : Yeah ! And doesn’t that scare you to death ?

You want to see HP but not The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe?!? Thats the movie I'm waiting for......In_Gabriel_We_Trust wrote:

Of course I'll go see that one too. I'd be nuts not to.
But HP has my preference.

Ahh... "The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe" - doesn't it just sound like X-mas?Elendil wrote:You want to see HP but not The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe?!? Thats the movie I'm waiting for......

I'm with you there Elendil. I think (hope) this could be a return to the great Disney legacy of old.
Should at least help fill the "Lord of the Rings" void. (Lewis & Tolkien were good friends, don'tcha know?

Oh, I so agree.klet wrote:I'm probably in the minority here, but I'll not really liking Ron's shagginess. Harry's not as bad (not that I wouldn't prefer him with shorter hair), but I can't stand Ron's.
I like Daniel better with shorter hair too and I liked what they did with his hair in TPOA.
Rupert is looking more and more like a hippy junkie with that hair cut.

Emma is getting beautiful though

As an EDIT: I'm reading The Chronicles of Narnia right now and I'm on the fourth story, but I just can't seem to get through it...

I loved The Lion, The Witch etc. but the other two stories I've read were giving me a hard time to stay awake on.
I loved the trailer of Narnia but Aslan looked a bit too CG to me.

I am glad we have something (Daniel better with shorter hair) in common. I'm not sure if I like it. Some people like Daniel better with shorter hair. I like to talk about movies and music. You are not the only one. Do you like what they did with his hair in TPOA? I enjoy working with people.

You two remind me of my aunts : " Yes, yes. We understand he's a barbarian but that Conan fellow would look much better if he got a haircut."
