Argh! The Pain!! Avert your Eyes!!!

Post by tex-chan »

Or ... not ... *evil grin*

I was jaunting around the Internet last night, and realized my Shutter City gallery is still active. I was thinking of dusting this account off and, maybe, posting a few more shots in here from time to time ... mainly because my hubby gave me a new camera for Christmas.

(Yes, I know ... it's not Christmas yet, but he has a hard time keeping a secret ... LOL)

Anyhow ... thought I'd post this link here for grins. Look at your own risk, but don't say I didn't warn 'ya! :D

And the bird... and the orange tree... aw, heck, I love'em all!! Glad you showed them off! What kind is your new camera? I think I might ask for one for Christmas and I don't yet know which kind to ask for.

My new one is a Canon Rebel XT. I always buy Canon, because, when I got my first 35mm, it was a Canon ... so those are the kinds of lenses I have. It's too expensive to replace the lenses ... LOL.

Thanks so much for the kind words. I was pretty hesitant about posting the link on here. I debated over it for a couple of hours last night and, again, this morning.

I agree!!!

The umbrella snake, rainbow, and the red house in the Shenandoah Valley are my favorites, but I have to say Cat in the Sun is pretty special too :)

You have a great eye!!

Kittens and Zag ... eeep! I'm so sorry it won't open for you guys. I really don't know why that might happen, since this is an account I have hosted on a photography site. It's kind of like deviant art, where you sign up for an account and can post your photos on there ... so I don't know anything about how it's set up. Sorry --- I feel awful that I can't offer any more useful advice. :hurt: :l

Thanks, everyone else, for the wonderful, supportive comments. I, most definitely, will never be anything more than a rank amateur when it comes to photog'ing ... but it is something I enjoy doing when I have the time. And, it makes me happy to know that seeing my pictures didn't make you guys barf (much  ).

Hopefully, in a week or so, I'll post some new stuff on there. It's been quite a while since I actually headed out, camera in hand, to see what I could see, so to speak. But, now that my daughter is getting a bit older, I hope to be able to do this a bit more.

Thanks again for your kind comments. I really appreciate them!
