What Are You Most Thankful For?
Hope someone else didn't post something similar already. If so, very sorry!
I also just placed this post here, not knowing where else would be appropriate.
It's Thanksgiving (basically), a time when we all stop to give thanks. This is not
a holiday celebrated in other countries, but the sentiment is universal. We should,
always, give thanks for everything we have in life. Even hardship can lead to better things.
In our family, before dinner, we go around the table and give a short
speech about what we are most thankful for. So, if you don't mind sharing,
please tell me what it is you are most thankful for on this wonderful holiday.
As for me, Senor is who I am most thankful and grateful for. He has
changed my life in countless ways and never taking him for granted is my
goal. Sorry to gush, but I just adore him to pieces. Fixing up our house
has brought us even closer together.
I sincerely wish everyone a happy and safe holiday week/weekend. Take care! ^_^

It's good to meet someone who is most thankful for his or her husband who loves him or her in spite of his or her demeanor and addictions.

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

Yeah that's right. Yeah okay, I thought you were, but I wasn't completely sure.

I am thankful for Brad, my soulmate and lifemate. He has shown me nothing but love, kindness and patience. I am thankful for my family and friends, and for their health. I cherish and love the friends in my life, no matter how little or how much they've touched my life. And I'm thankful for you of course, because you are my good friend! ^^ <3

I'm thankful, like Aernath, for the Spouzal Unit (tm). He's hung in there with a wacko like me for some 25 years, through sickness and health (mostly sick), richer or poorer (mostly poorer), thicker and thinner (decidedly thicker).
He also reinforces my selfish spending on myself. (Hey, that way he doesn't have to come up with new gift ideas! After all this time, the good ones have been taken!)
I'm thankful for the crown jewels of my life, the two things I've accomplished that make everything else worthwhile, Thing 1 and Thing 2, the Screaming Banshees, the Creatures, the Ladies, EJ and the Bug: Elizabeth and Jen. Brilliant, beautiful, clever, and most of all utterly gross (added as tribute to the enormous belch that just issued from the next room), these two give me reason to get up every day.
I'm thankful beyond words that my fuzzy family, Buffy, Brandy and Emily, are still with me. It won't be much longer for Brandy, who at 19 is declining quickly. But all 3 of them pester us to death and shower us with affection (and loose hair) every day.
I'm thankful for my Best Friend and Natural Enemy (tm) up above there
, Kymaera, who feels like part of the family to all of us here in Mooville. This guy's the real deal, gang, as steadfast a friend as you could ever hope to meet in spite of appearances
Proof positive that you can find just about anything on the Internet.
And I thank all the deities that have ever been for you wonderful bunch of fellow loonies. Every one of you shines in your own special way, lighting up the darker corners of my life, soothing the rough edges, and making me laugh in ways I haven't laughed in a very long time. Thanks for sharing yourselves with me.

Like the others, I'm thankful for my other half, 4_degree - for putting up with my craziness most times and otherwise being a total sweetheart about pretty much everything
I'm also thankful for all my good friends here on Beta - especially my sis, Sakura-chan, *huggles* for sharing in my total anime-induced insanity
And last but not least, I'm thankful for my family and of course, my wonderful pets--whom I consider to be part of my family: Ares (the bunny) and Duncan (the really old goldfish whom I swear is immortal at this point).

I'm thankful for my family, our home, and our good health.

And the disadvantage of that is? For real. Oh those people.
