OK, I have to ask this, because it's bugged me for YEARS:
Does anyone remember in the movie, The Last Unicorn, Schmendrick gives another character (whose name escapes me) a riddle to keep him busy while Schmendrick frees the unicorn from her cage? The riddle is "Why is a raven like a writing desk?" We never hear the answer in the movie, so I've always wondered, why IS a raven like a writing desk?
Or, is this a riddle with no answer? (Or else, the answer is something along the lines of, "They're not alike, you dummy!")
Just wondering........

And here I thought I was the only one who had wondered about this!! I must admit, while I'm way more likely to remember the "Becasue Poe wrote on both" answer, I liked the "because you can't ride either of them like a bicycle" one!!
Thanks, Chi!!
