I've made many a video using "Windows Movie Maker" but I came across a Gundam Seed music video that had "Layering of pics" Like the clip plays and a pic moves over the video clip. Don't know what this effect is called..but it looks neat.
Does anyone know what type of program to use to make these effects? -thanks

Making music videos to my favorite anime are one of my favorite hobbies.

As for the effect you are talking about, it's pretty much just using layers, opacity, and transparency. Windows Movie Maker, however, doesn't have the ability to do these kinds of things. My number one choice is Adobe Premiere, but you have to be willing to shell out about $600 bucks or more for a copy, unless you find one on ebay for cheaper.
