Whatever gave you that idea?

being a washingtonian myself, I think the seattle guy should look tweaked out and jittery from not having his coffee or being able to access the internet...

I think he should be armed with apples and fish too ;)

anyone hear about the whole side bet thing? If pittsburgh wins they get salmon and apples from our state's gov and seattle's mayor. If seattle wins, we get a case of hot dogs and katsup...I think seattle is getting robbed!

Some of those calls were pretty anti-seattle...that first touchdown for pittsburgh was so not a touchdown-and I can say that as someone who doesn't watch football!

But then again, no one expected seattle to win...and I am sure they could make that happen if they wanted to.

Ah well-I just don't look forward to the super grumpy guys at work tomorrow ranting endlessly about the seahawks...eeek

Umm. Interesting deduction. Again, That is a rather sweeping generalization about people.

Yep, sweeping generalizations are fun cloud :)

Now how about those commercials? I think my favorite was the clydesdales playing football, being interrupted by a streaking goat, followed closely by MacGuyver for mastercard

worst-the monkeys for careerbuilder, and jessica simpson for that nasty pizza bite thing from pizza hut

They got the fumble call and messed themselves up with two missed field goals.

I had to root for Big Ben and the Steelers as an alumni of Miami University, so I didn't think the calls were lopsided

Yeah, I think the calls were pretty fair. The touchdown call was tough--you have to remember that only a sliver of the ball has to cross the white line of the endzone, and you couldn't possibly overturn it with the footage they had.

The commercials were pretty good--I was glad to see the Ameritrade "Don't judge" ads. The one with the boyfriend/cat/tomato sauce from last year was the best! And the careerbuilder monkey ads are always funny :D
