Why it's called Coming Eventually...

Post by aernath »

Part of an email from my husband today:
hubster wrote:I understand there's 7 full pallets and enough loose mail to make an eighth backed up in Hono. Total of 25 pallets backlogged (over and above the current not-yet-coming load.) ATI bumped to tomorrow - and that's only assuming that they fix it.
The last mail plane we had was last Thursday. Today is Friday. Today's plane that was originally Tuesday's plane, got bumped to tomorrow. And that's only if it gets fixed in time. X|

I'm trying so hard to be calm, cool, and collected when my $1500 Ichigo hanken are out there.... somewhere.... probably Honolulu, hopefully not getting folded, spindled, or mutilated while waiting in a hot sundrenched line out on the airfield, for a place on a plane coming my way. :bawl

And that's just the hanken. I've got cels out there too! :bawl

Anyway, if I seem a bit uptight these days... well there ya go.
Plus the whole "can't spend anymore" thing.
Me <---one big frickin' nerve these days.

My apologies ahead of time if I offend or piss anyone off.

That is a good explanation.

Gee, I musta missed the offensive part... that just seemed like a normal cry of anguish from a normal girl who just wants her stuffs!! :) (Have you ever been called "normal" here before?? Yay! I think I'm the first! :D)

I hope the mail plane makes it to your little tropical paradise soon, Leah! We all wanna hear the audible squeeeel when you open that hanken package!! ;)

Yep, I can see it now... package arrives and the National Earthquake Center reports an unusual reading from the Marshall Islands... followed by Tsunami warnings all over the globe...

Patience my dear, patience. Good things come to those who wait. Take a deep breath... and relax.

[Plus all those other little words of encouragement that don't mean much when you're the one waiting on something special, LOL]

And I thought that I had issues with mail tardiness. You win.

Just remember that all good things come to those who wait... or something like that...
