That puffy-necked geek of a film director has finally caved in. George Lucas is releasing the original theatrical version of the Star Wars trilogy this September! I guess he got the message that folks like me were not going to buy the "Greedo shoots first" version. I don't know what gives these directors the idea that they can change their films later on without caring about the fans. Already pre-ordered my DVD set.

You love the originals. What do you like about the originals so much?

Really! Oh how cool. I love the origianls. I was agro that he had to go and fiddle with them. I mean all these people feel in love with them already, as they were! Wonder how long it will take to get to Oz. I can't wait till they all come out in one huge dvd set with all 6 films.

I am also looking forward to the orginals being released on DVD. I cannot even remember the differences anymore.

LOL i had already bought the dvd's when they came out and i was so mad/dissappointed that they weren't the originals...I had thought maybe they released the originals because i saw a dvd box set of them with the original 1977 new hope picture on it. I already own like 3 box sets of star wars now ill prolly buy these too.

Amazon has the Star Wars trilogy for presale now. Each disc contains the original version and the 2004 special edition. Remember, this is only available until December of 2006, so it is a very limited run. Plus, by preordering you save $10 off the retail price.
