Personally, I gravitate outside to watch in fascination.
Don't know why.
Dad was that way too. We'd both head out to whichever side of the house was the lee, he'd smoke a cigarette and we'd both just silently watch the weather. :)

It's still raining outside, but a little bit ago it was just pouring down.
So I grabbed up the cat and took him out on the porch with me to watch it all come down, and inch up over the porch. :D He was interested for a little bit, but probaby associated all the water with "bath" and jumped out of my arms and ran straight for the back door.
Never once smoked a cigarette. :P

What do y'all do?

Ahh :)

When it Rains it pours here lol

There are a lot of things I like to do when it Rains.

If my husband isnt home, I stand on the balcony and watch it, closing my eyes and listen too. Breathe in the rain scent :)

If he is here, we snuggle on the couch and watch it from our back sliding door (he doesnt like to go out XD)

Or I read a book and cuddle up on the couch (again if hubby isnt home)

If it is night time and we are sleeping then is starts to rain and thunder I usually freak out and get a better excuse to cuddle closer :P

All in all I LOVE the Rain <3

I thank our lucky stars that it's actually moisture coming all the way to the surface... (we get a LOT of virga around here, which does our poor semi-arid landscape no good at all)

And then... I curl up with a good book and read it for about 30 seconds before I fall asleep :)

Depends on the time of year and time of day. I love to work on the garden in the rain if I can. Not in thundestorms, though. Ever since the house was hit by lightening, I have not enjoyed thunderstorms as much. :(

I don my grubby leather mack, grab a large trowl and roam the streets picking up any roadkill that I find. It all goes into one big sack so I can save it for later.

And then what happened.

Ah, so I have your attention, Cloud?
Some of the carcasses can be sold to the local kebab shops.
Once skinned, several rabbits can make suitable slippers for Mother's Day gifts.
The foxes make good pillow cases.
A badger can feed a family of three for a whole week.

I know I should strip naked and circumambulate my garden thirteen times widdershins to make the cucumbers grow. But rain plays hob with my hearing aids.

I opened my eyes
And looked up at the rain
And it dripped into my head
And flowed into my brain
So pardon this wild crazy thing I just said
I'm just not the same since there's rain in my head.
I step very softly
I walk very slow
I can't do a hand-stand
Or I might overflow.

And all I can hear as I lie in my bed
Is the slishity-slosh of the rain in my head.

The sweet sound of rain, falling on an umbrella. Walking in the street.

well, I don't dance in the rain anymore, but I do open the windows when I'm driving. It's fun letting the rain pelt your arm! :D
