Emergency Notice: Flooded Out

Post by Kujaku »

Okay, I'm not sure if anyone watches the weather channels or not, but after a night of trying to unflood my basement, my neighbors and I were just told to leave our house :? We're packing our essentials, but the only reason why I am taking time out to do this is to apologize to the people I promised to send their packages out today. I am really sorry, but the road to the post office is closed anyways :hurt: I know I sent everyone an email, but I'm putting this notice up as well. I moved all my cels and such on the second floor, so unless my house washes away, they should be safe. If any of them gets damaged, I will refund your payment right a way, so don't worry. Take care everyone!! Send me dry thoughts, I'd really appreciate it :D

*sends many dry thoughts*

That is horrible, Kujaku! I really hope your house will be OK, and that you manage to get all the most important stuff out safe and sound. I also hope your family will be safe. And, most especially, that things dry out for you guys very, very soon!

*sends more dry thoughts*

Your situation doesn't sound particularly groovy, Kujaku. I hope the water doesn't cause any lasting damage to your place and that your valuables are safe.
Take care!

So I smiled and was happy
and behold;
things did get worse...

Ugh!! Nothing lousier than soggy basements! (and hopefully that's as far as it goes...)

Let us know when you can, how things have gone! We'd be happy to split the difference with you out here... you send us some of your wet, we send you some of our dry...

Oh CRAP! 8O I was just watching that on CNN and wondering if anyone from Beta was up there. :O

Sending biiiiiiiig "I understand flooding" hugs from down here in the Big Soggy. :ghug: At least you have a basement to catch all that crap. The odds of it getting into your actual house are probably lower (CNN says it's up to 14 inches now)

Be careful!!!! :?

We are living on the third floor in an aprtment complex and our neighbor seems to be ok.... But yeah it was pretty bad..... (I was a bit scared...)

I hope your place can be clear quickly and damages are not too bad....

Hope you're reading this message from a safe and drier spot. Damn, hope those rains stop soon and the rivers, creeks, etc. can lower a bit and relieve stress on those banks.

Also hope your house is left untouched.
