What did it look like to you?

Aww, really? Not good? I plan to see it tomorrow, hope it won't let me
down too much. I am easily entertained by action films tho.

Make sure you sit through the credits.

I thought it was good, but sorta sad/disappointing too... not in that it was a bad movie just in that... well, you'll see. Still worth seeing IMO, and definitely worth seeing on the big screen so I'll probably see it again.

Hope you like it WC. :)

hmmm. . . I heard it was "all action, no story." *sighs* I imagine I'll be hearing all about it tonight as signifigant-other is going to see it.

I liked it...I just saw it tonight. I was really shocked at the end, let's just leave it at that without spoiling anything. If you like action, it's great, but don't expect a good storyline...as mentioned earlier it's more action than story. But I still liked it.

And my favorite line from the movie (if you've seen this on-line) is:
Do you know who I am? I'm the Juggernaut, bitch!
I laughed so hard at that. If you don't know what I'm talking about, look it up, and watch the 9 minute clip of the X-men cartoon mockery. Warning though, very strong and suggestive language is used, so if you don't have an open mind and a sense of humor, it's not for you.

I liked it too. It was interesting and surprisingly dark in spots. Sure it's
not what people are used to from the comics, but X-Men has been retold
and tweaked many times. There's no real canon to speak of when
the property is as old as X-Men.

It's a fun movie with some twists I just didn't see coming.

I just saw it today. I had low expectations for this movie(because the 3rd chapter of movies commonly end up being dissapointing), but I was suprised to actually like it. The movie is darker than the previous 2.
The only things that bothered me is:

A sequel is hinted, but a main character dies as well as some minor mutants. Magneto seemed weak in this movie(that scene with him & the bridge....you HAVE to see it), and Mistique, well "hell hath no fury like a woman scorned". Only a few mutants from Xaviers(spelling?) school fight in the last battle.
BTW for those planning on seeing it, SIT THROUGH THE CREDITS!

I thoroughly enjoyed this film, and I accept the liberties they have taken with some of the characters such as the Juggernaut and Madrox. Here are my spoilerific thoughts...
1. I like the tease after the credits rolled. Very cool moment.

2. The sequel is looming due to what we saw at the end with Magneto. It seems that the "cure" is not exactly permanent, which may have implications for Rogue and Mystique.

3. We never actually SAW Scott die, and given the Dark Phoenix storyline in the comics, it may not have been Jean that Logan killed.

4. Beast was superbly done, and I want him to return. I geeked out when Colossus and Logan did the fastball special!

5. Good to see Iceman come into shape, finally! I am really looking forward to the next film, and I hope it has something to do with Days of Futures Past or the Timeline arc with Bishop.
Time is but an illusion. Lunch time...doubly so.

I Loved it! /no1

I am a huge X Men fan and I was not disappointed. Although it is different from the comics I used to read as a child, I still enjoyed it. The only part that bugged me was Beast. I imagined him to be a bit bigger in build, cause lets face it he kicks some butt so you'd have to have huge muscles. And I thought he'd have a deeper voice, not to much deeper but just a tad. But otherwise it was an excellent movie.

I went to the premiere and won a X Men t-shirt. Of course it is a mens tshirt!

And that is my two cents
" I'm Usagi Tsukino, 16 years old...in the first year of high school. I'm a bit rash and a crybaby...but, I'm actually an agent of love and justice....pretty Sailor Soldier, Sailor Moon"
