Wedding (kekkon shiki)

Today my hubby and I went to my sister's wedding and my sister was sooooooooooooooooooo pretty today!!!!

Unfortunately we did not bring a camera (since my hubby lost way to come back from a bank and it was very clost to the wedding time...

) so I do not have pictures

My sister got married at a church (she became a christian only today

and her huby as well

) and it was pretty nice!

I wore kimono and my hubby wore suits.... So we tried to be somewhat formal

My parents cried, my sister cried and I cried.... Her friends cried.... So many tears.... But it was really nice wedding! I am so glad that we came

I just wanted to share with you guys b/c I am still excited

Too bad you couldn't get pictures!!!

If she's half as pretty as you, though I'm sure she was GORGEOUS!

Still seething with jealousy you get to go to japan for almost a month....

Even though it was western style wedding there are so many difference between American wedding and Japanese

It was very interesting to attend

That sounds like it was so much fun and so beautiful!

I've never attended a wedding, I only see them on TV. Was the cake yummy and the weather nice? ^_^

There were so many kind of sweets

and they were goooooooooooooooooood

My hubby and I were saying that it must be Italian food

because there were so many of them!

First we saw so many silver sets so we thought it was just some kind of decolation. But it was not! First we have two sets of appetiers, and then some soup, then some dish (it was sea food, crab and robster). Then we got orange sobert. Then it start all over again with different dishes

Appetizers, main dish, salad, and chocorate cake, and fruits.... We thought it was end but then they served the main cake!!!!!

I think I gain a couple pounds for this dinner......

After this we had the 2nd party

At the party we had more food and drinks

(we had sushi.... so I could not resist it

)

Congratulations to your sister, kittens! I'm glad you all had a wonderful time. I do wish you had a camera. It's always fun to see wedding pics... everyone's weddings are unique and interesting! I hope they have many many many years of wedded bliss!

They dated for 6 years before getting married.... and also they seem to get a long well together... SO I am pretty sure that they will be fine

Also we like my new brother in law

Yap, that is what we are planning to....

BTW, in Japanese wedding, the bride and groom change their dress/cloth twice

So my sister put on a beautiful dress during the reception

SHe was really pretty

Six years. Wow. Sounds like they can certainly can handle this committment!

Sounds like it was a bit overwhealming with the food!

But it also sounds like it was a great time.

I hope you can get some pictures to share!
I would love to have been there!
And Congratulations that you like the groom!!!!!

You'll all feel more comfortable at family gatherings.
