4chan is an image sharing board geared twards anime but has grown as the years go on. It is a place where if you can be offended you will be. Basicly the only things the mods do are delete blatantly illegal material such as childporn and the like.

The boards are separated by their types food&cooking, anime/cute, automotive, weapons, animals&nature, photography, sexy,beautiful women, wallpapers, cosplay, sports, etc etc.

It an interesting community with no holds barred conversations.

There is a room called random, beware the room called random, anything and everything goes there, except illegal images.

Some rooms are worksafe, to a point. Sometimes people who hang out in the Random room come into worksafe rooms and post porn. All you can do at that point is wait for the "janitors" to delete the image and ban the user.

You can check it out if you want, but don't blame me if you don't like it. Then again some of you may really like it like me. I put in a "janitor" application there last week.

I've heard about 4chan because the people keep referring to them and posting game images and fan art from there (like the supposedly violent and Magical girl Shuffle anime images someone created), but I've never been there myself.

I used to go there a bit, but got really turned off by a lot of the posters being
complete jerks: spoilers in titles, spam/porn in all the board, etc.
