So I have this dilemma - I'm looking for someone who's willing to commission an original character for me. I'm picky since I'll be using the character on my itty-bitty online store. I've tried asking acquaintances and it seems that I'm out of luck in that area. I haven't found what I like from ebay. Google is too big to narrow down. I've also tried scoping out Deviantart for artists, but this has been an unsuccessful endeavor. It seems I don't quite know how to approach artists since I've yet to receive any responses. Either that or their slots for commissions are full.
I know there are many talented artists out there, but I was wondering if any of you have recommendations - people you know who can help me out by allowing me to pay them in exchange for a cute chibi character design. I'm looking for someone:
1. nice (approachability is such a valuable thing)
2. good (I'll be paying for GOOD, professional looking digital artwork)
3. flexible & professional (willing to make changes if needed)
4. fast (I need it before the end of the month)
