Beautiful

I don't want this to break down into a political discussion, because it has nothing to do with politics. This is a great video of our president calling out a reporter for wearing sunglasses during a press conference yesterday. What he doesn't realize, is that the reporter is blind! :wack

Time is but an illusion. Lunch time...doubly so.

:rollin :rollin :rollin

I saw that on the Daily Show last night! Actually, it's worse than that because he isn't actually blind, he just has a degenerative eye disease that renders him *legally* blind but very sensitive to light.

But lately our president seems to be under the impression that he's a stand-up commedian or something, so I'm sure he thought he was being funny. X|

Was it me, or was last night's Dailly Show even more funny than usual? :P

The Prez.'s... I don't even know what to call it - I guess false bravado following his big "successful" trip to Bahgdad ('s Green-Zone) and the fact that Karl Rove won't be indicted (for now) made me cringe with horror because I knew his good-ol'-boy antics were just around the corner. And sure enough, he starts it off taking reporter's questions with an Airplane reference: "Roger, roger." Holy shit! This is our CnC?! And then the hazing of the L.A. Times reporter...
You know, Stewart was probably right - in all fairness, Bush "probably didn't give a shit" (oh wait, apparently he made a phone call and apologized... whatever - too little, too late :moon).

And then came the Jason Jones' hilarious report about the Ohio primary for Precinct Captain (these are the team’s leaders in every neighborhood) whose Democratic representitive's platforn included being able to "drink and drive only on weekends", which just made my jaw drop. And she won, THANKS TO A COIN-TOSS!! :puzzled

Oh man, my head hurt so bad from banging it on the coffee table that I almost wasn't able to sit through Colbert.... almost. Speaking of which, did anybody catch him on Letterman? I caught the 1 a.m. showing of the Daily Show/Colbert Report and missed it.

While I thoroughly agree with all of the above (surprised? ;) ) what's REALLY beautiful is this:

I looked at the subject and who posted it and KNEW what it was about before I even clicked the link! :hitting:

1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
