I thought Edmonton overachieved given their goalie status, so kudos to them for their effort. But I have to give it up to the vets like Doug Weight and Rod Brind'Amour for getting their cup. They've waited a long time. Also like what I see from Cam Ward. I remember when Patrick Roy and Ed Belfour first came up and were so good at a young age. Premier goalies are rare these days, so he has a good career ahead of him if he stays fit.
That was a great series. Lots of action. Hitting, scoring, and all that good stuff. I said to myself that carolina was going to win it this year when i saw the standings at the end of the season. Great job to them. Ward came out big. It was a great series and congrats to them.
