Ball-jointed dolls?

I just got my first BJD, a BlueFairy Tommy model, and I feel the need to show off his pictures like a proud parent. (Like Hughes, heehee.

) Poor boy is currently hairless and nekkid, but that will be fixed as soon as his wig arrives and I sew him some clothes. I named him Hinoki.

I'm thinking of making him cosplay as Quatre, and possibly crossdressing him as CCS Sakura.

Does he resemble any other characters? (His eyecolor can be changed, BTW.)

Does anyone else have a BJD? If so, please share!

Here's a pic of my Hinoto fresh from Anime Expo. Too bad there were still folks in the lobby.

Even at 1AM the place is packed, but I did get a few good pics.

Here's Sesshoumaru and Cloud. Cloud is not finished yet. He's missing his gloves and buster sword which are on the way. The buckles also need to be replaced with metal ones, but you get the idea.

Nice Sesshoumaru and Cloud, too! Those stands are pretty neat.
Their costumes are so elaborate. Did you sew them yourself??

And that Vampire is just fabulous!!!

I have been eyeing a Blue Fairy doll for a while now, but the husband went absolutely ballistic.
I tried to mention it again recently, and for a change he didn't threaten divorce, so there's still hope. Some day I WILL have an Ichigo!

I'd love to see full pics of your vampire and Sephi dolls if you have any, Galatea.

I'm afraid I didn't make them. I wish I could say I did! One set of his clothing was a one-off from a BJD company called SoulDoll. The other was based on a Volks pattern that I commissioned an extremely wonderful seamstress to make for me.

I DID make the Red XIII suit though.
