I wasn't exactly sure where to post this at Beta, however I just wanted to do some shameless plugging on behalf of my sister (Finder). She's opened one of those Cafe Press "stores" with items that feature one of her own original artwork pieces: a BW pen-and-ink sketch of a Friesian horse.
So if there are any Baroque horse enthusiasts here, or folks who appreciate original equine art, please stop by and check out her stuff! She was considering adding more artwork, but said it depends on how the Friesian design sold. It'd be great if you guys could offer her some support as she's been very depressed lately after being laid off from her job of 9 years!
Wow, Heather! Your sister is VERY talented! That is GORGEOUS. I don't think I undersatnd what a "postage pal" is though... if you bought that, would you get envelopes with her artwork on it and then you add your stamp, or is it a sticker that you put on an envelope or whatever you want? (Sorry if that is a daft question... I've just never seen anything like it before. )
Please tell her that she is a fabulous artist, and I hope she gets a jump-start to her confidence with some sales of her beautiful horse art.
Your sisters work is amazing! Friesians are such beautiful horses and she captured them so well! I really do hope things start looking better for her! Maybe she can do an Arabian next?
Wow, that is BEAUTIFUL!!! I hope her sales go well. She is, indeed, very talented. But, then again, what else could we expect? After all, she is your sister, and you are incredibly talented!! It must run in your family!!! *hugs*
Thanks, everyone! I shall forward on your kind thoughts to her!! Oh, and shellie, I've never seen anything like that "postage pal" item before either. Very unusual, but it looks to be a sticker for your stamp. Not sure of it's usefulness, but still, kinda cute.

Is some new designs you guys are both exceedingly talented a movie?
