As I've been reading posts, I've been trying to figure out what different peoples' avatars &/or signatures are of or from. Instead of pm'ing everybody, I thought it might be a nice little topic, maybe I'm not the only one who is scratching their head & thinking "WTF?"

I think mine's obvious, but I'll go first anyway. Majin Vegeta from Dragonball Z. The best character in the entire series

Mine's just a heavily modified crop from a digital snapshot that my wife took of me outside a diner. Somehow the result was "me."

Well, the answer's going to change a lot as I tend to switch mine out quite a
bit. Currently, it's a scene from Weird Al's "Weasel Stomping Day" music
video off of his latest album "Straight Outta Lynwood".

I may eventually stop identifying with her, but I seriously doubt it.

My current avatar is Mizuho and Tohru from the Elf ban Kakyuusei (ELF version Kakyuusei) anime:

I've found that if I stick something in my avatar it encourages me to update my cel page. I tried to get away from doing that, but that made me go back to hardly updating at all.

But the reason I'm not updating now though is because I don't have any time with this new huge anime season. In the time it takes to update, I could squeeze in a couple extra episodes of anime viewing instead.

Yes, I know it's strange. It's based on a Live Journal joke about how Aya hangs around in my Bish Closet because I give him free Cheetos. A friend made it for me, and, somehow, it seemed like the perfect mascot avatar for my LJ. Then, I decided I loved it so much that I used it over here, too. It always makes me laugh.

My avatar is from Sailor Moon, of the insane maniacal villain of S season, Professor Tomoe. He's an interesting character, because he resorts from his 'normal-looking' self into this 'insanity-mad-professor' being. Can you guess which being is featured in my avatar?

Camus, the Aquarius Gold Saint from Saint Seiya. Why him? First, I think his character design is the best of all the characters in the series - in particular he has those strange double eyebrows - and he is supposed to be French

I guess the author chose his name and nationality from Albert Camus, the writer.

And now that you've got me thinking about it, my avatar has been tragedy-laden Kazuki for a looooong time! I probably should switch, just to confuse everyone.
