I'm hooked. I was a big fan of Deadwood, and the creators of that show have really outdone themselves with this series. Much like Deadwood, the language is very vibrant and brutal at times. It's like Shakespeare with overt swearing. The cast is made up of veteran actors like Ed O'Neill(Married With Children), Rebecca De Mornay, Bruce Greenwood, Luke Perry, and Luis Guzman. There are also a bunch of new faces that do a great job. It's set in the city of Imperial Beach, CA. It follows a surfing family, the Yosts, and their experience in dealing with a newcomer named John. John is seemingly "slow," and can only parrot back what others say. However, as soon as he arrives, strange things begin to happen to the Yosts and their friends.
It also has the best opening theme in television.
So, anyone else love this show? I am a surfer from way back, and the surf scenes are enough to draw me in.

Time is but an illusion. Lunch time...doubly so.
