:D ok nobody get to mad about these silly poll threads. Its just after all the debate on the last "Crunchy VS Creamy"(crunchy's winning!) Then the debate they've been talking about for years popped into my head.


So which do you prefer, Coke or Pepsi? If so....Why do you like it?

lets try to keep this into just these two soda flavors, because i dont want to put a neither option for those who dont like either or who like a different flavor. Because the war is between these two :)




I like pepsi, always have. Always thought the can looked cool. Plus they had Britney spears(back when she was young and not bald) :wink:

And I just like the taste better...cant decide what makes it different....but it does....Could be the mosquito wing i got in a coke can once...



To bring up an interesting point in this conversation and to also make this more then a poll.

I have heard that a lot of colleges(including my own) are trying to get Coke machines off the campus and replaced with Pepsi. Something about foreign labor or something i think...i dont really keep up with it....

Coke. It has more carbonation and tastes sweeter. Also, Pepsi gives me a headache for some reason.

I love pepsi but I do like coke as well :) :) Anything caffeins in it I do not mind :P :P (I looooooooooooooooooooooove mountain duew! BTW)

my honest choice is, whatever is on sale... if they're both the same price, i usually go with whatever one i hadn't had in a while. :P

I love Mountain Dew too! but havent had any in years...had this problem when i was young(8 years old), drank about 10 cans of mountain dew and got extremely sick and was awake for a couple days....doctor advised i cut down...

I'm a Pepsi fan! :D It tastes sweeter to me. :wink: I'll drink either but when given the choice, I'll always pick Pepsi. :)

I'm a Coke affectionado. I will drink Pepsi, but if I had the choice, Coke all the way...

Hmm, my university just signed a multi-million dollar contract with Coca-Cola to get it into their school! That news is new to me.

My friend got me hooked on Coca Cola in second and third year Middle School. I used to collect Coke cans because they used to say which city they were distributed from. When I went on trips I would return with a different cities can. :)

Pepsi is a little too sweet for me so I prefer Coke. Although when I'm given Coke and Pepsi (bought from a supermarket) in a blind taste test I have a difficult time figuring out which is which. I have an easier time figuring out which is which when I get them at a restuarant. Probably has something to do with the big container they get stored, ?mixed and poured out from.

I prefer Coke Cola. There are more varieties too, but my gf wants me to stop drinking Coke coz I have soft teeth and she says it takes calcium from my bones. I think she's just making excuses, except I do have soft teeth so goodbye beloved Cherry Coke. :l

I really don't like either, but if I'm being forced to choose, I'll take Coke. While I dislike the extra carbonation, I don't like the after-taste of Pepsi even more. X|

It could rot your teeth. I think there was a Mythbusters episode dedicated to coke. Showed that it cleans blood off the street, shines up bumpers, stuff like that :P

:crackup I've used Coke several times to clean my windshield. :crackup Pespi doesn't work as well. Just makes me want to drink Pepsi more. Wouldn't want to think about what Coke is doing to my stomach. :messed

Pepsi, it's sweeter. :D

But I have been off caffeine-laden soda for years. :) I drink mostly water now. The occasional 7-up/Sprite/Root beer... (like twice a month)
