Japanese translation help...

Hello!!I'm looking to see if anyone knows what these mean:
They are in Kanji

So if anyone knows, and can type them in the post in their Kanji form
(Example like this :" あ ")

-I'm making this list with Kanji that look similar to make it easier to translate, but I'm missing these (plus a whole lot more, but I need these at the moment)

Example of what I'm doing: ONEs that look like T's

"考午万丁下十才ホポボ汁汗汁
すずただメナヤセ
テデ式文オ丈お方
けげ
人火入大犬太太木夫天朱
決欠矢次失本六更本美"

Hello!

Sorry for not making it clear....

Since I don't know japanese, I made a list of Katakana, Hiragana and Some Kanji.

So for those above, I'd like to know the meaning, and if it's possible, the Kanji. What I mean it to COPY the Kanji (from somewhere in the internet, like a page) and paste it here.

Like if I asked how you say older brother in japanse, someone would say, it's "ani" and the kanji is this: 兄

Because I need the Kanji since I'm translating something...

From the left ot the right and top to bottom:

kanji phonetic hiragana meaning
起 ki き get up.
覚 karu かく wake up or realize
手 te て hand
抱 hou ほう hug
触 shoku しょく touch
届く todoku とどく reach
泣く naku なく cry
触 shoku しょく touch
届く todoku とどく reach
声 koe こえ voice

There are some of them repeated......

Have you ever tried using a free online translator?

Google search it sometime they are immensely helpful.

Do you mean like babelfish???
I do use it

But how do I translate Kanji if I don't have the kanji to copy and paste in the box? Or is there a place where I can show them a picture of the kanji, and they can copy and paste it and put it in my email?

I hope I don't confuse you either...so
EXAMPLE: let's say I see this kanji in a magazine:-大丈夫
How can I translate it, if I don't know what it means? Or how can I do so, if I don't have the kanji to put in the translate box????

And so I made this list of Kanji that makes it easier for me to translate

(not a complete list, but it helps ^^

this site is really good for finding translations of kanji. It' also has a way to look them up via a "multiradical method." I haven't really had a need to look any up that way though, so I don't know how helpful it is :-/

That site was handy! I found some Kanji there! Thanks ^_^

There where a few that I was not able to find, so if anyone has spare time, i'd appreciate help ^^

I need the Kanji (paste on the board) of these 4 Kanji (on the left)

I have the letters for the right="いたっ="itatsu " but I can't find the meaning...is it some sort of yell??

法　ほう　hou direction, alternative, way
先　さき saki ahead; せん as in　先生　せんせい sensei, 先週　せんしゅう　senshuu last week

癒 to heal (kanji pronounced i, whole word is ieru 癒える)
痛 to hurt, ouch! (kanji pronounced ita, whole word itai 痛い)

The one in hiragana on the right is actually read "Ita!" A small tsu at the end of the word indicates that the person is screaming. In this case, the long line means that they extended the last sound, so it's more like "Itaaaaaaa!" Don't confuse that with a choun (long vowel) though--it doesn't change the meaning. It's past tense of iru in plain form. Generally, it translates to "He/she/it is there/here!!!" Sometimes it means "There it is!!!" Depends on the context.

So, you're trying to make a dictionary type thing for kanji? Ummm . . . you'd probably be better off buying a Nelson's dictionary. This seems like an awful lot of work. An abridged dictionary runs about $15-30, and I can guarentee that it will have any kanji used in anime/manga.

I bought mine used for about $10-15. I can't remember exactly how much it was.
