Concerts

Post by Majin_Vegeta_2028 »

im super stoked! one of my favourite bands is playing tonight and ive
got tickets :D its called an 'evening with down' (down being the band)
no opening band, just a few hours the headliner. i got to see them back
in march when they opened for hevean and hell, but they were only
on stage for 40 mins and it left me wanting more... i didnt even watch the
second band that night, we just hit up the beer garden ;)

for those who dont know down, the lead singer is the former lead singer
of pantera. so if you like to rock, they are definitly worth checking out
http://www.down-nola.com/

so my question to you is, what has been the best concert youve been to?

I would have to say when I saw Projekt Revolution. It was a bunch of different bands but the headliners were My Chemical Romance and Linkin Park. I was in the front row. It was awesome! .rockon.

What did you like best about it?

Red Hot Chili Peppers at the Huntridge Theatre here in Vegas. Very small (300 capacity) venue for a great band. Ozomatli was the opener.
Time is but an illusion. Lunch time...doubly so.

I'd say it was definitively my first concert of HIM!

We got lost, had a car crash while going there, arrived in time only because the policemen were kind enough to lead me 'till the parking (too affraid to get lost and crashed again!)... So the beginning was a total disaster :D

But we found place in the second row, in the middle of a group of kind german girls. I had a big red roses bouquet for the singer, with one of my gothic poems in English attached on it. A security guy proposed me to launch it on the stage, in the middle of various flying gifts...
And Ville Valo (the singer) only took one: my bouquet! He read the poem during an intermission, then turned back to the public with a big smile and the thumb up. I was as red as a tomatoe! Then he passed the bouquet to his manager...

And thanks to these flowers and my crash... I was allowed to go to a private signing session and talk with the band for a while!!!

It was just... amazing!

Well Cloud it was one of the most amazing moments in my life :D

But it was quite less funny when I had to explain about the car accident to my parents and after when I had to pay the huge bill for repairs...

:x

Never tell them but... It almost worthed the price! :dgrin

Mathematical demonstration about how to become a guest:

Get lost
+
Get crashed (for a huge amount of repairs)
+
Be livid
+
Offer a nice poem
+
Let someone tells it to the band
-------------------------------------------------------
= You got your backstage!

:D

I won't never do that again I hope (and never on purpose, I loved my car!) but well, I didn't want to be crashed but thanks to that I lived a great moment in backstage! LOL
