I am so excited! I've been wearing my Vinny Castilla jersey everywhere (except work, they kinda frown upon that).

I just wish that he was still with them! But this is so great - I can't believe they've made it this far.

Let me take you back, a loooooong time ago. Three years ago to be exact.

October 16th, 2004 - The Red Sox got a beatdown to the tune of 18-9 by the New York Yankees, at home. After that loss, the Red Sox were down 3-0 in the series. In game four, the Red Sox folded up and lost the series to the Yankees in a sweep. Oh shit, wait...

They actually went on to win eight games in a row to win the World Series. Like I said, until the Indians start popping champagne, I will not start worrying.

Never thought I'd get to say "The Rockies are in the World Series!" Now I get to deal with even more people coming into my work and asking me if we have any Rockies stuff yet...
