Hey everyone -
I'll be headed to San Diego for the Thanksgiving holidays and wanted to see if there were any cels shops in town that are worth checking out? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I don't recall any walk in shops there but http://www.nichibeianime.com/ lives just north of the city and runs his shop out of his home. You can contact Dave and see if you could arrange a visit.

I live in the San Diego area. Unfortunately, I do not know of any anime cel shops. I know there is one that sells a lot of American cels (at least two/three years ago - haven't been there recently) in the area called Old Town.
Like JWR said, I know that Nichibei is further north, but I have no idea where and have never attempted to visit them.
