Oh...the horror.
I will be forever scarred because of the Easter Bunny. I was four at the time and extremely shy. Although I thought the Easter Bunny was cute, I just didn't have the audacity or courage to take a picture with him. My parents, thinking that I was afraid of the costume instead of intimidated by his presence, felt I might be persuaded to take a picture if I thought he was harmless. So, at the end of the day, when there were no other kids around, they introduced me to a large, white rabbit. But, before I could say anything, the Easter Bunny took off its head

and there the Easter Bunny stood with my uncle's head atop its furry body. It was a little girl's nightmare.

Long story short (too late), I really didn't have the reaction that my parents thought I would. Since then, I've been afraid of taking pictures with any holiday character including Santa Claus. And, I still don't like dwelling on thoughts of clowns or costumed Disney characters. Tragic, but true.

I much prefer taking pictures of or with wild animals and children. It seems so much safer.
