Makes me think of Bacchus--y'know, with Satyrs-- jumping for some wine grapes. We might not ever know the story the ancients were telling, just making educated guesses.
Of course, even educated guesses can be wrong.

Iranians? Or the time they created this piece? Anime in Iran is all over, have there own cast of dubbers and everything. The language is "farsi."

I would call it the world's first manga.
I wonder if Volume 2 of the manga "Goat eats leaves" will be translated?
