Dancing avatars - did I miss something?

Bit curious, did i miss something, a new "internet meme" or something. I keep seeing users on beta with dancing avatars, doing the same odd little dance.

so far: Keropi, Roboflonne, & jenn-b now have had one....

That’s not just any odd little dance…it’s the Caramelldansen!

It matches with a cute Swedish novelty dance number of the same name, though I think the Darker than Black crowd have it about right. Lee and Gaara are going maybe just a tad too fast and Zero and C. C. are definitely too slow!

Photoshop and a gif animator!!!

Keropi's is 12 frames, Mine is only 6 frames so mine is less fluid.

LoL, I was gonna post the exact same thread...it's quite mesmerising really!!

Had a look on those forums too and I can't believe the phenomena behind it all!! Still don’t really get it though…lol
I must admit the avatars do look pretty cute...heheh, and I can't believe there are soo many!! The Kenshin/Sano one is great tooo!

I had seen the avies on other forums I venture and
then saw them pop up on Beta.

I couldnt find one of Kiba/Akamaru but bumped into
a Sasy-Dei-Dei parody of the whole dance avie
craze and use that for my signature instead
