Dead Babies Make the Best Family Heirlooms....

Post by iwakuralain16 »

THIS CONTAINS SOME DISTRUBING PICTURES----

So i am sitting here at my desk.. munchin on a poptart and surfing the web. I stumble upon the link to article and of course... I am curious. The video on the weather channel of them making a salad blow a hole in the wall was not exactly as entertaining as they made it sound... this was bound to be interesting. I click on the link almost throw up the poptart I was snacking on. AAAH!!! SO WEIRD!!

The second picture says that is why the police decided to take action. AAH!!

How can someone sane keep that thing?!?!

That is all.. I am sure this will be moved to speakeasy later... maybe.. I dunno

I don't know it used to be quite common to keep bits of people lying around on display, people in the medical proffession particually would keep various bits and pieces of people stored in jars of formaldehyde for instance (though not I presume members of their own family). Just another example of political correctness gone mad if you ask me...

This reminds me of my dad's uncle.

He asked the staff of the hospital for his severed leg so that he could take it home after he left the hospital. He was involved in a car to train accident.

Then he took it home. :puzzled Ugh. 8O

I can't look. I'm afraid to open any of the links.

I remember hearing on the news about two different women that had the bodies of 4 children in their homes (or buried in the yard). It's just too creepy to think about. I'd never want to see pictures.

There is a good reason that I never go to scary movies. My brain is way too overactive.

Actually, as bizarre as it seems, that's actually not too uncommon. There are numerous amputees that have lost limbs in freak accidents or had to have them removed for health reasons, and then have kept them. I can only assume it's some psychological thing- they just really can't come to terms with giving the limb up.

The craziest thing I ever heard of, though, was some guy who had kept his foot after it had been amputated, and when his house was robbed, the foot was actually STOLEN. However, the cops caught the perps and managed to get back some of the stolen items...including the foot, which was the thing the guy was the most upset about having stolen...

I didn't know it was that common. :sweatdrop

I'm not sure why my dad's uncle kept it, but later he and his father buried the leg underneath their house. Their house was out in a pineapple field in Maui.

Unfortunately when my dad and I tried visiting the house ten years ago, we discovered that someone had built a new home on top of the spot. It made me wonder if one of the construction crew discovered the leg as they were building. Probably. :emb
