All New Futurama!
Following in the steps of Family Guy, Futurama has been brought back to life! I love this series, and am so glad to see it back on the air. Did anyone else catch the new episodes that aired last night?

By "we" do you mean you and me?

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

I saw part of it last night (like maybe 20minutes tops). From what I watched, I got a different, not typical, vibe from the series. Maybe it's because I didn't watch enough? (I wish I did watch it all, but the other people around me didn't want to watch it
)
It just seemed kinda different, but maybe it's just me

I've seen it. Parts of it were so sad. Poor "Lars". I can't wait to see how they resolve the end in the next movie. I would think that some of the changes made to the past in Bender's Big Score also would affect the events in some of the most sad episodes, Jurassic Bark and Luck of the Fryish. Not necessarily a bad thing, because those episodes do make me cry every freaking time I see them, and I can't listen to that damn song from the Breakfast Club anymore without relating it to Futurama.

What did you think?

I hope it's worth the wait.

Yeah those have been out for a bit. Collectively called "Bender's Big Score". But it was nice to see something different on.

Yeah, I can't even watch the Jurassic Bark episode. I can't stop crying. I like how the movie does touch on a lot of the key episodes from the series and if you are an avid watcher like me, one can only go "Oh, I know the episode that is from!" The movie was very nicely done.jcaliff wrote:I've seen it. Parts of it were so sad. Poor "Lars". I can't wait to see how they resolve the end in the next movie. So the new episodes are just the movie cut up?
C'mon... how can you be so apprehensive about wanting to see more of the Zapper?syan wrote:I can't believe I'm going to say this, but I'm kinda sad there wasn't that much Zapp Brannigan in it.
Everything that comes out of his mouth is an instant classic.

i got a slightly different vibe from the new episodes as well when i saw them originally. each year fox tries to push the satire envelope more and more, ever since the adult animation boom. it tends to become a headache for the crew. so that could be one reason. still, i am glad to see the series back for the time being.

How can I help you? Yes, perhaps it could.
