Anime File Sizes

Has anyone noticed that anime fansub files have grown a lot during the past three months?

Now sometimes you're faced with either getting:

1. 165 Mb Xvid files that's small, but fuzzy
2. 330Mb to 450 Mb MKV file that looks great, but is so large that the file runs slow on your computer or fills up the DVD very quickly

Sometimes there's nothing in between.

This is my random thought for the day.

330Mb to 450 Mb MKV file? Ouch.

I struggle with some of the smaller file sizes. My broadband limit is fairly low. but much better than it use to be even (1 GB).

I still usually go for tiny files though (75MB rmvb), but I buy the official dvds afterwards =)
