Kajiura Yuki!

I was finally able to see Kajiura Yuki in concert last night! This was my first ever time to see her, so I was really excited.

She is an amazingly, talented, beautiful person. I was so moved--to near tears!--throughout the concert; it was wonderful. The concert started at 7:00 and the first half was most of Yuuka's songs from the album Circus. It was really good, but not my favorite part of the concert.

Around 8:00, Yuuka and her back singers were replaced by Kaori, Keiko, Wakana and Yuriko Kaida to perform the songs from the album Everlasting Songs. This was the part of the concert that was EXCELLENT. Maybe I liked this part of the concert the best because I bought the album from iTunes and had been listening to it, but...heh Anyway, their frist song was Hoshikuzu (stardust). It was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. It was wonderful to see it performed live. My other favorite songs were "Dream scape", "Yume no Tsubasa", and their last song of the evening, "everlasting song". Wonderful, wonderful concert.

And seeing Kajiura Yuki play the keyboard...is entertaining in itself. She has such a musical sense, it's part of her soul and being--you can feel it. It's so inspiring and moving, I was sooo close to tears at least 3 times throughout the concert. And her MCs were really funny. ^_^ I'm soooo joining her fanclub now!! haha

So, were any of you able to see her when she came to...what was it? Anime Expo? I saw the video of it on youtube and it was REALLY cool to hear her speak English! She was really good!!
