I own a Fate Testerossa Harlaown Dollfie Dream doll.

I always wanted to own a really big anime figure, so when I saw this one on YJ (an anime character I like, cool and attractive design, plus not-too-girly-looking thanks to the uniform and scythe) I purchased it immediately. Actually, I originally had intended to buy an even larger, more expensive figure, but the massive worsening of the Yen exchange rate sank that plan.

What is that a Touka Gettan poster on the wall?

Yes, it's a limited edition extra that was included with the Japanese DVDs. I'm impressed you recognize it, as the series seems to have flown under most anime fans' radar.
It's a real pity Touka Gettan never achieved much popularity. Once you get used to the backwards airing order and general weirdness of the series it's just a fascinating and gorgeous anime to watch. Probably one of my 10 favourite anime series.

:topic

It was unusual and different. :)

I can't say it was quite my thing, but it's difficult to forget Carnelian artwork once you've seen it (Yami to Boushi, Moonlight Lady, etc). Her character designs are very colorful. She also uses uncommon combinations of eye to hair color for her characters.

Beautiful doll!:drool :bow
I also like your office and the way you have your
lovelies set up! ^O^

I personally like the anime and official studio release
dollfies and pullips much more than the fantasty
and realistic ones. (SD13)
Those give me the creeps /wah
Especially the animal ones.. *shudder*

I always wanted to buy at least 1 FC dollfie but I
could never find the right artist for the face-up or
if I did, they were booked for months in advance. :P
I would do it myself but I prefer someone that
had a handle on on airbrushing on dolls.
In the end, I lost interest.
Plus my brand addictions, and cel collecting,
keeps my wallet busy enough. lol!
:hitting:

Alyssium:
Do you have pics of your dollfies?

Well not actually classified as Dollfie, I did get this limited one of 50 from Volks for Maria several years back http://ryan.rubberslug.com/user/72b3f3e ... ca08e6.jpg

It all started with the simple desire to make an Ichigo.
And then it all went downhill from there! I have almost all but stopped buying artwork because the dolls just keep raiding my wallet for more of them!
Little buggers.
This year is the No More Dolls year. :^^:

Oh, hey, that's my Ichigo doll in my sig. :D

Yeah, all the cel money got sucked up into the vortex of resin bishies. :P

Oh NOOOOOO!!! Go ahead, ASK me about my dolls! :P :bny :P

On my Profile page there, near the top right is a section for "Albums". I have just one, and it has the majority of them in there.

But for helpful reference, this works on everyone's Profile page:
Click the "Statistics" tab just below the ID photo, then
"Find all threads by" ... and that will show you all (okay, some of us are more prolific than a measly 12 pages will show) the threads that person has created on DoA. Gallery, Photo stories, General discussion, etc. Mine are almost all Gallery/Photo stories. :emb It's how I play with my dolls.

Anyway! Those are all sorted according to the most recently commented on. So not strictly chronological.
I use that feature for when I'm buying something from someone in the marketplace, and I want to look at the item again, or I just want to see if someone has anything for sale (typically I go through my feedback thread, and see if anyone I've bought from before, is still selling, and has anything I'm looking for). I click on their icon in the PM, then the "Statistics", and "all threads", then scan for their sale thread.

For my hoard, I recently did this shoot because we finally got organized and got some shelving up. :bny
Only about four or five are missing from this round of photos. :)

A set of photo stories I collaborated with Gennii Drominda on:
http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showp ... ostcount=6

And some verrrry old school stuff from the very beginning!
http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showp ... ostcount=9

Wow. If that doesn't keep ya busy for a while... :emb

For those few who might be interested but can't view DoA and want proof that I'm still Ichigo crazy...
On the left we have Kyouzou (hollow Ichigo), and Ichigo. And second from the right is my version of Zangetsu (oh, his name is TangetsuGo, and there's indeed a short story there!)
And these are all the same head sculpt, just different colors and done up differently. I did all the faces but the one on the far right. ^__^
Image

Even a Kon, second from the left. My Kon likes leather and chains.
Image

I even have an Orihime (awful picture) and Yoruichi to the left here.
Image

And recently, a "grown up" version of Kon. Paku! :P
Image

:emb Okay, TMI, I know....
I shall slink away now...

So let me ask aernath...is the moderation group over at Den of Angels very slow in response? Immediately after your post I went over to sign up for the forum - you see, I've been kicking around the idea of putting together a doll for some time now and could definitely use the guidance of the forum. But less than two hours after I signed up, my account was deleted. I tried several times to contact them, and have yet to hear a response. I'm really bummed, because I could really use some advice on one of the companies I'm interested in purchasing from.

Just a little frustrated, I guess.
